It is a complicate psychological game of manipulation.  They convince the kids to do it without threatening them.  That way the child thinks he has done something he has to hide.  If you were to walk in on an adult molesting a child the child will often try to hide what was happening.  He doesn't think he is being "saved".  Instead he thinks he is getting busted along with the adult.

The initial story I read said something like "probably related to so-and-so's arrest". It could be nothing. It could be something terrible.

Well he has kids... So kids could be at his house to play with his kids.

It literally does not matter what you eat.  Eating below your TDEE will always produce loss of weight.  Eat subway all day as long as you eat less calories than you need to maintain your weight.
