Marvin is clearly a hater.

Got you confused with Shake.

Sorry, but it is easy to do when both of you are arguing the same points.

Why would anyuthing in this article make you think Marvin is a hater?

Oh, wait, I see what you did.  You completely ignored the facts and content AGAIN in order to make some sort of strawman attack on me.

Guess that is what wins arguments in the "court of public opinion", but I will just stick with facts.

So you agree with Marvin that Pacman "needs to work on his public persona"?

That's ok Fred, I sometimes get you confused with tosu fan from the old boards.  Apology accepted.  We weren't arguing the same points per se, rather disproving yours.

Have a nice day

Pac has been in a lot of trouble, so people decide that they no longer need to know any facts.  They say he is guilty because he has been guikty in the past.

See, this is always what happens.

I say Pacman should not be cut for what he did and point out that most other teams would not cut him for what he did.  You guys can't really argue with that position so you try to turn it into "YOU DON'T THINK PACMAN DID ANYTHING WRONG BECAUE YOU LOVE PEOPLE WHO SPIT ON POLICE!!!"

Samr thing happens every time I step in and try to refute a claim the "Player X is the worst player in the league!".  The poster realizes he can't prove that player X is the worst in the league so he attacks me by saying "Oh, so you think he is an All-Pro who never messes up?"

I wish people would learn to respond to what I actually say instead of just trying to start fights.

Just like Ten Chances doesn't get it, you don't get it either.  You're arguing technicalities and details and totally missing the forest for the trees.

Did he spit?  Didn't he spit?  Who the **** cares?  He was in the back of a police car.  Again.  He can't stay home and live a quiet life and act like a family man of thirty something should act,  especially a man with his past.  It's that old NFL saying--nothing good happens after midnight.  Does his wife hold her breath every time he ventures out after dark? He is just incapable of behaving rationally over the long haul.  Some people just can't live in peace.  He is one of those guys.  He can't say no to the drama.   He has to keep going out and creating more.

And guys like him need guys like you, guys like Mike, arguing details when he is long past getting the benefit of the doubt, paving the way for his descent into the abyss.  That's what enablers do.  They pave the road to oblivion for repeat offenders.

Who drives around in a Rolls when they owe a mountain of money?  Who is that ***** arrogant?

Even though he might be skirting around the law, he continues to break every law of common sense.  So, go on, enabler.  Do your thing.

He won't work on his public persona because he doesn't give two shits about it.  He has seen over and over again that his actions carry no consequences.   He has been given carte blanche to be as big an asshole as he wants to be.

Only two things will stop him--death or prison.  That's how it is with the majority of addicts.

See,  You do not even realize that he was suspended by the NFL for a couple of years.

Since then he has done nothing to deserve a ssupension unless he ends up getting suspended for this incident.

You guys don't know what you are talking about with Pac.

When was the last time Pac was convicted of a crime?  What was that crime?

Thank you for proving my point.  You, again missing the big picture.  You don't get it at all.  Arguing details, enabler.  Standing up for the asshole.

All I am doing is stating facts.

It amazes me that people like you think it is perfectly okay for the police and everyone else to tell lies about Pac.

I don't like Pac's behavior, but I do not think that entitles me to make up lies about the guy.

There was even one guy squealing about Pac "eventually killing someone".

There you go with the over exaggeration again. Not everyone is telling lies about pac. Hell, you lied about me lying about pac.

This thread was about his behavior and I'm not getting it. You somehow think this forum is the court of law and we must obey courtroom rules. It isn't, and we don't.

But a fair number of things you say he didn't do he's done and they've been shown here.

Just leave it at you don't like his behavior and move on. A lot in here don't like his behavior. His own coach said he needs to work on his public persona. But i guess Marvin is lying about PAC too.

Are you his attorney Fred? If not, you should be.

You are still missing the point.

This is not about anyoine saying what Pac did was okay.  All I am addressing are the people who are squealing for Adam to be cut immediately.

But for some reason noe of you will address that anymore.  You are all too busy building strawmen to attack me instead of having any sort of reasonable conversation about if Adam should be released.

So keep having fun with your little "Marvin must be lying" comments.  Too bad that has nothing to do with what I am talking about.  I'll come back when you want to discuss the real issue.  What did Marvin say about cutting Adam right now?  Care to comment on that instead of just getting trying to insult me?

Want to make a bet on how long it takes for his next "incident" to occur?  The entire world is colluding against Ten Chances, after all, right?  A huge conspiracy out to bring him down.  Guess what?  He's so good at bringing himself down, no conspiracy is needed.

All he needs is Mike The Enabler to keep lining his pockets with gold and enablers like you missing the point and jumping in to defend him and he clearly has those things.

He has no motivation to be a better man because there are no consequences for him continuing to be a scumbag.  Why should he change?  He knows he's above it all.

So, go on and prove yet again how badly you continue to miss the point.

I am not missing the point. I started the damn thread. My point is he doesn't get it. He acts like an ass, says punk ass things publicly that continue to make himself and the bengals look bad.

Numerous posters cited examples of poor behavior on his part that you claim didn't happen. It's been shown that they did happen. You still refuse to acknowledge they happened. You continue to derail the topic that we can't have an opinion on his actions we can only comment on what he's been proven guilty of.

There's no law against acting like a punk ass *****. That's a fortunate thing for him.

Since I don't "want to discuss the real issue" there's no need for you to come back.

Time to make another straw man.

Bingo. McC's post also nailed it. Just the fact that he's out and about getting arrested and winding up in yet another embarrassing situation would be enough to get a person of his reputation cut from most teams. Just to sum up his last few years:

1. Struck a woman (caught on video)
2. Lost his composure in 2 straight playoff games
3. Kicked out of a local casino (caught on video)
4. Slammed Amari Cooper's helmet into the turf repeatedly
5. Went on numerous embarrassing social media tirades
6. Embarrassing arrest where he wished death on a cop (caught on video)

What else do we need to see?

(05-14-2017, 10:47 AM)fredtoast Wrote: All I am addressing are the people who are squealing for Adam to be cut immediately.

Considering his past, I think it's safe to say that (1) not many teams would've taken the risk on him in the first place, and (2) the teams that would take the risk would've put him on a short leash. Any of the videos I posted may have been enough to get him cut. Certainly all of the incidents combined are more than enough to consider it.

You act like we as fans (or the team itself) should wait and see how this plays out in court. Why? The charges against Ray Rice were dropped, but he was still cut. That goes for a lot of players that get released over off-field conduct. The NFL has stricter standards for conduct than the court system. The standards are usually even more strict when a player such as Pacman starts to develop a (lengthy) history.

So to sum it up, my questions to you are:

1. Why do you think we need to see more evidence than the video and the arrest itself (which is damning enough), considering Pacman's history...even with just the Bengals? Keep in mind that the NFL isn't a court of law.

2. You seem to also think Pacman deserves a clean slate and benefit of the doubt for each occurrence. Why? Again, not court of law, and even the courts often consider history.

What has been proven is that he did not spit on a nurse on purpose yet the police lied and charged him with a crime.

It has also been proven that Adam did not threaten the life of a police officer.

I am correct about these things and you have gotten so upset that you are now making up cliams about me refusing to acknowledge that Pac ever did anything wrong.

From my very first post in this thread I have acknowledged that Pacman has nmessed up.  My point all along has been that we do not need to cut him now.  Instead we need to wait and see if the rest of the charges are true or if he gets suspended by the NFL.

But none of you will address what I really said.  Instead you treat me the same way you do Pacman.  You make up lies about me and then act like that is okay because you are somehow morally superior.. yOu are basically acting just like the police that lied about Pac.

Fred, meet rock bottom.  That's where you have sunk to.  Yet AGAIN I will point out that the article you linked to does say pac spit chaw from his mouth that landed on her hand.  Criminal intent not withstanding, it happened.

Pac did say he hoped the officer died.  Pitiful.

I am not that upset Fred, so again, get over yourself.  You keep rehashing the same things over and over where you have been proven wrong.

My point of this thread is that he doesn't get it.  He should watch what he says publicly.  That simple concept escapes him.  Mike brown has already said he won't be cut.  This will carry over until he does something more serious or stops producing on the field.

I am ready for the day he's no longer a bengal.
