Bengals New Defense Coordinator
I stated this earlier in this thread but maybe someone from the college ranks for DC. If it is, I hope is someone from this list:

Looking at college coaches:

Don Brown (Michigan)
Brent Venables (Clemson)
Manny Diaz (Miami)
Bob Shoop (Mississippi State)

New name emerges as potential DC candidate:

Scott McCurley, former Packer Defensive Assistant.

I think the possibility has always existed, and has been mentioned here, that it could be someone no one predicted.

Actually, I've seen that predicted.  Maybe not seriously, but still.

Taylor will find a good one. He seems to be a football guy and a winner. He'll know what to do.

While there is no way this should or would happen it would be the most interesting move any NFL team can make.

As to the OP I hope whomever we hire looks at the last 4 games and decides to play that style of football. We do not need a ton blitzes but more press at the line of scrimmage at let the front 4 get loose.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Someone may have mentioned this in another thread. Another new name has emerged and I think this is a strong possibility:

Ejiro Evero LAR safeties coach.

For Offense Coordinator, this candidate may be Press Taylor but another name has surfaced:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Lombardi

Joe Lombardi coached at the University of Dayton and has help Drew Brees become what he is now.

While I still think Marvin can be an excellent DC, he can't do it here. It would undercut Taylor with the players from the very start.....

Interesting. Haven't really paid much attention the the Safety play of the Rams.

Would absolutely love Joe Lombardi coming here.

True, he needs a change as much as we do. He could be a very good DC for some other team and might lighten up his eyes again.

Looking at him from the time he got here til now looked like he aged like a POTUS does in a couple terms.

I would love to, but isn't he still working for Pops?

As a LB coach, he's also coaching (head coach) in the East-West Shrine game today

He did great job helping Anthony Barr step away from the Line and play stack linebacker.

Would send a bad message, highly doubt this would happen.

Marv should get a job somewhere else as either a DC or LB'er coach and he might do well.

Just not here.
