Your genetic code contains the information to build your organ systems. There aren't any decisions involved. Your need to breath is determined by your genetics. So what the hell kind of obscure point are you failing to make yet again? Sure there is, your brain make the decision to breathe. No brain activity, no breathing. I can choose not to breathe, then I will pass out, and I will choose to breathe. You do realize that you are not aware of every decision your brain makes don't you?

You make decision while you're passed out? I was already aware of how little you understood about science, but this is comical. Breathing is controlled by both the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. You do not actively control the parasympathetic nervous system. Your respiratory center is located in your brainstem. You do not make conscious decisions to breath while unconscious with your brainstem. I'll stop right there because you're already lost before I started. Look up the definition of "decision" for christ sake. We can add English to the list of crap you don't understand. In order to make a decision you you need to be aware. A reflex is not a decision.

Just because I am not conscious does not mean I do not have brain activity (you do realize this?). Have you ever heard the term "let me sleep on it"? Even though you are unconcious your brain is processing data and making conclusions. How do you think we wake up without external stimulous? Tell you what: You continue to think same sex attraction is genetic like skin color and I’ll continue to think it is a process in the brain. One of us is bound to be right. I’ll get to work on understanding science thing; you keep working on the insults.

I want to throw it out there that using a figurative expression is probably not the best idea when trying to make a serious point. I'm just going to hope you were joking around with that line, but yeah, carry on...

You're the one who has to decide not to suck each and every one during a daily ongoing basis until you die. You have offered up zero genetic proof. I offered up that it could possibly be a multifactorial genetic disposition, but you rejected that. So until proven otherwise, I will continue to believe that it is nothing more than an addictive sexual behavior. It's no different than people that are addicted to Porn, paraphilias, frotteurism, S & M, Transvestic, Gender Identity, exhibitionism, voyeurism and others.

Much like breathing, it's something encoded in us that we don't make an active decision everytime to do. Everytime I see a person, I don't make an active decision to be attracted to them based on their sex. Likewise, I don't make a decision to breathe everytime my body does that for me.

Who has said "active decision" besides you? Just like Breech, you can be on the "it's genetic just like skin color" side and I'll be on the a process in the brain side. Hell you guys can even laugh at those that think attraction is a process of the brain; at least you'll seem smart to each other.

When I wake up in the morning...I'm craving eggs, coffee and vagina...though not necessarily in that order. What does it matter if I'm craving vagina because of my genetic wiring or because I just prefer it? The same goes for those who enjoy c--k, or both, or neither. Why in the hell does anyone care?

So at a minimum they will seem smart to each other. If I were to say "only to each other" then you might be like your head and have a point. Now you can stop fabricating an insult.

People look for ways to judge and tear down anything different or uncomfortable to them. My question is why do you 'care' one way or the other. Whether you, me or science, makes the determination that our sexual attraction is genetically hardwired, or that it is purely a preferential process...who cares? In short brother, I just don't get why people spend so much time and effort concerning themselves with what other people decide to do with their rods and holes?

See, that is what drives me crazy. For example, I'm straight and my brother is gay. I like the hole, he likes the pole. But, why should there be any difference in the rights, equality and protections we each have? Just reducing it to it's simplest form...those opposed to it are basically saying "you should be discriminated against because of the genitalia you choose to enjoy". Again, I have just always found it creepy that some people spend so much time worrying about, and being offended by, other people's sex lives. For f--cks sake, just enjoy banging whoever it is that you chose...and let everyone else do the same! |
