In the Bills-Dolphins game, both teams ran for 260+ and put up almost 1,100 yards of offense.

The Browns-Chargers put up a combined 89 points and both teams threw for over 300 yards.

So I had to find when this happened between the Bengals & Browns:

December 5th, 1971:

Bengals had 232 yards, 2 turnovers, and 27 pts
Browns had 3 turnovers and 30 points

Earlier that same season against the Browns they almost made this same list:

Bengals had 232 yards, 2 turnovers, and 24 pts
Browns had 3 turnovers and 27 pts

Yep. Almost 100 more yards and 2 more TDs.

Yes Apple gets flamed a lot and sometimes deservedly so. But he's not as bad as many say.

As bad as Apple was against the Saints they did mostly hold them to FG’s at least. Both Lamar and Dalton had some bad misses to wide open guys though. It was just a weird game for the defense in general. Even Bell was off, and he’s been playing great lately.

Like 99% of CBs get beat regularly. For what he's paid...he's fine.

This is a actually a really big positive because it was one of our real weaknesses last year. I still feel this team is just waiting to click when every thing comes together we could blow out a some teams.
