Yeah, but that is a requirement for consistency.
So what you meant to say is that you are really not consistent.

That is an odd way of looking at Muslim migrants stoning transsexuals.
The assaults and rapes that have happened all across Europe.
The creation of Soldiers of Odin and Soldiers of Allah.
What an interesting perspective.

At least he's consistent unless you go by what he says.

After some discussion and review, we found that these threads shared common themes (Europe, Muslim Immigrants) and that the individual posts were not getting much traffic outside of people posting to complain that these topics had been discussed many times.
Initially, I was against this. But I would like to see if one large thread thread can get more traffic and posts which stay on topic.

It appears St. Lucie was "suspended" yet again. I can only assume it is because of messages he sends via PM and to that I would ask him to stop it. If it is because of his posts in this public forum then I would say the hypocrisy is worse than I thought.

We don't discuss suspensions outside of the person being suspended.

Good policy. That is why I asked STL to stop it if it were a PM issue. WTS, the next time I log onto this forum and see 20 posts started by anyone with no replies I will proclaim that person is the problem; outside of that I'd say we are all covered in dirt. Hopefully he just didn't get upset because folks decided to merge his threads.

The merge happened after the restriction and had nothing to do with it.

Oh, I thought I saw him post on his opinion of the merge. Something about make 2 merge threads. One for the libs and one for the cons. Seems it got deleted or I was just seeing things.
WTS, I have zero issue with someone getting banned if they step outside the lines.

"There was no post between #267 and #269 in this thread. It was a figment of your imagination. The Mods did not have a technical problem which allowed StLucie to return and post after a suspension. You will have a good life with 24 kids."

Sorry, I don't look at the actions of a minority and assume they represent a majority.

I'm pretty consistent, but like I said, I wouldn't be upset in that one specific scenario. Never said the law shouldn't apply.
Enough about me, though.

I'm fairly tough on immigration, but I'm with you on this.
Why deport someone that is living in a manner that you are in favor of, when screening applicants.
Maybe apply the standard fees and maybe fines to stay in the country ?

That's a fair proposal that would be a good suggestion for the immigration thread. If you catch someone here illegally but they are productive members of society, give a fine as opposed to deporting.
