This was the prosecutor who was investigating that "bribery" allegation and apparently he has found nothing.  Comer and Grassley will keep "investigating" and throwing out promises that never come to fruition like they already have.  And people like you will follow blindly convinced that with just a few more weeks they will have proof of some crime that never really existed except in the minds of right-wing extremists

They did not look into the bribery charge, so no that part is not over. Why did it take 5 years to complete an investigation and come up with misdemeanors? Why are multiple whistle blowers from the IRS stating the IRS worked with the DOJ (not normal) on the tax fraud HB case say HB got preferential treatment. The or is a minimum of jail time for years for tax fraud involving over 1 million dollars.


The reality is we now live in a world of the FBI and DOJ along with the liberal media weaponize against conservatives. To my fellow conservatives, get back the Senate, increase majority in Congress and win the white house. Then do as the liberals have done, get rid of the FBI, control the DOJ and weaponize against liberals.

Let's start by saying that by far and away the loudest media voices in this country are all conservative.  The FBI is dominated by Republicans, especially in leadership.  The DOJ was run by Republicans for 4 years of this investigation.  The prosecutor, in this case, is Republican. This is the same prosecutor who Bill Barr gave the bribery allegation to.  So far these so-called whistle-blowers congressional Republicans keep throwing out have been shown to be full of crap. But they will keep investigating just to keep you people up in arms
 Maybe is Trump and his cronies would stop boldly committing crimes (you should watch Fox News Bret Baier's interview with Trump from last night.  He essentially admitted he's guilty) maybe they wouldn't be targeted.

If Republicans throw a bogus revenge impeachment trial, you will guarantee yourselves losses in the 2024 election but go for it.  The last thing you want to do is highlight House extremists in front of the independents you need to win any election. My opinion is independents will decide the 2024 election and how people are doing with take home pay versus how they did under the Trump years prior to the Pandemic. To date, Biden's policies are producing 17% inflation (poor decisions on fossil fuel killed the economy), don't fall inflation is improving, to get even he has to be +17% on inflation the next 18 months. Good luck with that need.

I think independents see and agree (look at polling) Trump has been targeted by the DOJ, FBI and the liberal media while Hunter and Joe Biden are handled just the opposite. This Hunter Biden decision plays exactly into the Trump narrative, try and steal over 1 million dollars from the IRS if you are a Biden, Clinton or Pelosi and you get a slap on the wrist. They see the Trump persecution in full display, Bill Clinton takes tapes and has them in his socks and he was cleared of wrong doing due to the being a POTUS. Biden steals classified documents and has them exposed (not locked up, but in open) where anyone who visits his house can see them and use them to hurt our national security. But, my guess he gets off with is criminal behavior (Senator has no right to remove classified documents.

It is obvious Trump has been targeted (fake Russian collusion) and so many other attempted take downs, yet he is still standing and not 1 conviction as of June 20, 2023. The left has gone after a political opponent and now Biden goes after the GOP front runner so he is in someway diminished so not a threat to beat him. The problem is the independents see the abuse against Trump and see the Democrats including HB being not served justice by the DOJ and FBI.

That is why Trump continues to lead in polls.

BTW, did you know Biden has a smaller reelection staff right now that the Jessie Watters show? Isn't that strange for an incumbent to not being actively fund raising (not doing well) and campaigning?

David Weiss is the source in a statement he made today. So, you are wrong Weiss has not concluded the investigation in spite of the misinformation the Biden attorneys put out today.

If the prosecutor could prove intent and actual criminality, difficult to do for an acknowledged addict, then he would not have settled. Hunter, is getting similar penalties to other first time offenders. He paid back the IRS well before any criminal charges which bolster the lighter penalties

Biden is incompetent and senile. The country sees it and yes liberals would vote for a dead Bernie (Biden) being propped up by the liberal media. I felt bad as a Christian watching not one but 2 Democrats (Biden and Fetterman) who embarrassed themselves on stage in Philadelphia. Biden reminds me of a worse version of McCain years ago. As a Republican, I was not motivated to vote for him so I did not vote.

Let's see if liberals throw their cash Biden's way or wait for the real person running which I think will be Newsome. The problem liberals have is Kamala's approval rating is worse than Biden's so she won't be the nominee. That creates a problem the DNC tossing away a black woman for a white Newsome.

Couple things:

No one knows why he said it was ongoing.  Perhaps that was just to satisfy the right wing nuts who want constant investigations into private citizens?  Maybe because all the i's haven't been dotted yet?  Whatever it is we will wait and see.

Meanwhile no matter what happens with Trump you refuse to accept that any of it is real or truthful.

I do have some friends who are independents . They voted for Biden, but were not happy about the lie from 51 former so called national security experts the Hunter laptop was Russian disinformation. They told me they would never believe another Democrat again once it was determined all of the 51 knew it was in fact Hunter's laptop and signed a false letter so Biden could lie on the debate stage against Trump.

Does any liberal or independent believe Joe Biden did not know the laptop was in fact hunter's? Joe Biden lied and the media and the FBI let him get away with it.
