Shannon Sharpe had a segment about how he played weeks with a high ankle sprain using it and sometimes an injection. Other people around the NFL have made similar statements so I don't think it's as uncommon as you would think.

Been hearing much of the same.

Mahomes will be playing mostly pain free and with meds, injections and bracing, he will be 90-95%. It’s the dang Championship game. He is a Pro. He will tough it out w these things assisting him w his objective to make it to the SB!!

Is he at greater risk of injuring it further than if it was totally healthy? What about it , doctor?
