Why would we sign Boldin just for the preseason?

Lafell will start the season on PUP.

Bank on it.

We'll get to see Marvin Giggle when people ask him what gives.

Seriously, some of the posters on here live in a fantasy world. The only time Lafell has had a problem catching the
ball is when he was injured. Other than that he has had very solid hands and it is expected that any new WR would
have some growing pains going into a new system.

This guy here proves my point...

The only reason I argued against that was because I didn't think Boldin would be ok with being "depth".

Considering that he signed with the Lions, he's apparently ok with being the 3rd option at best.

Yeah he looked great as a starter with Tom Brady. Ninja

No need to bank on anything, as it is impossible for him to go PUP.

You cannot participate in a single TC practice to be regular season PUP eligible...

Do you really think the training staff are the one's making that decision, and that the club does not send their players to the best specialists available? Really? Blame the training staff for players pulling hamstrings etc., but the constant criticism over injuries like Eiferts etc. are just stupid. The training staff are not the specialists that are doing surgery on the athletes......

Well hey, all of last preseason was spent here talking about a certain members "fascination" with how..what was the word...."inspiring" Andy's junk was...and he had a pretty good season. So whatever works....

I think some people need to read the article in the paper today on injuries and how well the Bengals have been over the last 4 years with lack of injuries vs the rest of NFL

Exactly. Inspiring Andy junk > uninspiring Andy pre-game speech.

Plus just because they reported as a ligament injury doesn't mean it isn't a tendon injury.

Most likely both as in stretched, etc.
