More "largely peaceful" Portland protests
(11-16-2020, 02:33 PM)Big Boss Wrote: To counter a baseless fraud allegation that undermines the integrity of our elections?

An allegation which, 24 failed lawsuits later, has yet to be substantiated in court?

Nothing has been undermined, just a few folks that feel they were cheated. Personally I think their stance is silly, but I also don't think they should fear "counter protest/violence" for simply sharing their thoughts.

You don't think our lame-duck president calling the election "rigged" and "fraudulent" over and over again, and news networks like Fox and Newsmax echoing those same sentiments, and thousands of people showing up in Washington DC with "Stop the Steal" signs isn't undermining the integrity of our elections? What on Earth do you call that then?

70 million people voted for Trump. How many of those 70 million genuinely believe that this election was "stolen" from them (a word Trump himself has used)? And you think that's "silly?" "Dangerous" seems more appropriate to me.
Everything in this post is my fault.

Violence is never good.

I sincerely wish the counter protestors would stay away and just let these "patriots" make fools of themselves...

Quote:Racist MAGA sign saying ‘coming for blacks, Indians’ leaves Fox News broadcaster in shock
Sign drew flak from people online, some also expressed surprise at the reaction of the Fox News anchor

A racist sign waived at a rally in support of President Donald Trump left Fox News anchors shocked during the live telecast.

Fox News anchor Eric Shawn paused during an interview with Axios co-founder Mike Allen as a handwritten poster board sign was held up that read: “Coming for Blacks & Indians first welcome to the new world order.”
Mr Shawn called out the sign in the broadcast stating, “We just saw a very disturbing sign, it said, 'Coming for Blacks and Indians first, welcome to the New World Order.

“I mean, who the hell knows, you know, what people have, and what they will say about those things.”

The footage being broadcasted was from the Million MAGA March that was held in Washington D.C. on Saturday.

The sign quickly attracted the attention of people online, drawing heat for its blatant racism. However, many also expressed surprise at the Fox News anchor’s reaction. One twitter user wrote: “Why is he shaken? How can he be surprised? Years and  years of racism, lies, propaganda, and incitement to violence by his network are directly responsible for this.”

This isn’t the first time an outrageous sign board has been spotted at a MAGA rally. Earlier, a sign against LGBT+ people was spotted, which read, “Trump, Make America Great Again, Ban ***** Marriage.”

The march was called in support of Mr Trump and his claims of “rigging” in the elections that Trump campaign is fighting lawsuits against. However, none of the claims of fraud have been proven so far.

...instead of giving fodder to the "so much for the tolerant left" people in the world so they can play the victim.  I mean look at these poor, innocent "Proud Boys" having to defend themselves from...uh...a camera?

Sorry...bad example.  I mean we don't see the ENTIRE scene play out...right?

Here we see protestors defend themselves from...a guy with a megaphone?

As noted in the tweet the attacker in this video got sucker punched (wrongly) and THAT video was spread about by people who didn't show the beginning part and he was defend by none other than the POTUS and his daughter.

So maybe we can lay off the "what did the counter protestors want" when a march allegedly about a "stolen election" seemed to be about a lot of racism and violence before the other people got there.

Saw Trump defend this guy in a edited clip that only showed him walking and getting hit. A lot of people responded with the full clip (the one you posted) showing him running up and shoving the guy with the megaphone multiple times before he knocks him to the ground and then shoving multiple people, mostly women, before he is ***** rocked.

Andy Ngo was the one pushing the edited clips and narrative that he was some innocent victim of Antifa.

Shocker.

Plan and organize your own "Support Democratic Elections" rally and I will be against any group that shows up to counter protest and cause conflict.

Counter-protestors are still just protestors.

Don't see how you can be in favor of freedom of speech for protestors but not counter-protestors.  Both have the equal right to voice their opinion.

Yea I generally don’t agree with Antifa. Just so happens I do if they are doing what their name says and going full blown anti fascists. Just so happens the attempted coup led by the fascists trump movement got a taste of reality.

Violence is bad. A fascist takeover of my country is worse.

Thanks Antifa.
