Von Bell is a good deal on a vet min. Smart S, save for that penalty in the SB. That hurt.

But he is likely the backup to Battle at SS. So what is Hill?

FWIW, both Anderson & Ivey had serious injuries mid-season last year, not sure either will be ready come opening day. Could start on IR/PUP.

Becton is still really young and had his best season as a rookie under Pollack. I will never turn in my fan card, so that is stupid to me lol

Called it about Becton made too much sense considering our idiot of an OL coach.

This is good news to me, he either plays well and it’s all hunky dory or it proves Pollack has no ***** idea what he’s doing and it’s a reason to turf him out.

Win/win

12 sacks & 18 penalties last year. The sacks tied for first in the league and penalties were second.

Barf. Retch. Projectile vomit.

Players from other teams aren't dancing on our logo during their pregame warmup anymore. Vonn said, "Uhm-um, Uhm-um", then he cancelled Christmas on Smith-Schuster.

Changed the man's entire outlook on the matter!! Lesson learned.  Hilarious

Even that year (74.4 PFF) he was still top 10 in sacks & penalties while only playing 691 snaps. 7 penalties T9th, 7 sacks T5th.

I think we get your take on Becton bro.... to be fair, none of the options left are great.  Perhaps the OT we pick at #18 doesnt take very long to become RT1 and Becton hopefully becomes just a depth piece.

That'd most likely make him our top rated olineman.

Has he been blocking for quality smart QBs?

maybe Jackson Carman is doing yoga, chute fighting, ballet, and dodgeball this off-season and is ready for the RT spot and Becton is coming to back him up. Hold on let me ask Hobbs.

Oh snap, I see what you did there. Honestly, teach Mekhi to stand up and fully extend arms and a QB should have 3 seconds

At least it wasn't Becton's man!

I will be hype if we land Becton. He is still only 24. Turning 25 soon. That is a big talented dude. I'd love it if he is wanting to come play RT here.

I'm suspicious of the situation. Becton has stated he wants nothing to do with RT, as he has to plant on his bad knee. With genius Pollack at the helm, I can see him plugging Becton into LG and returning Volson to his college position of RT.
Lord help us.

I'm also suspicious of an Eli Apple return, so what do I know.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I'm more alarmed that we are talking about how we are game planning playing a guy with a bad knee.  For all the measurable, length and familiarity with the OL coach, give me a little lesser player that doesn't have a bad knee.

The contract talks are a bigger issue.  We talk about his sacks and penalties, and for all his potential he sounds more like a 3rd wave flyer than what the optics look like..a recovery from losing Jonah.  Maybe I'm wrong, but in contrast they targeted Geno Stone as a specific need to address and got him on a good contract, that's aggressive to me.  Maybe the OT market had to come to them, but this looks at least as specifically reactive to letting Jonah "find his value" on the open market and then come back with a counter.  The solid bridge tackles are drying up, but there are still a few options out there.  I guess I don't want them to give him 2yr/25M if I can get Brown or Smith for 1yr/9M if we get into the next phase where FAs lower their expectations to bet on themselves to showcase.  I hope I'm wrong here and they end up with a reasonable deal or stick to their guns with a lower offer.  I've been saying trades are options but even fringe OTs may command a 4th in trade.

Blamed his injury on coaches and moving him to RT. Sounds like another guy who has a problem not playing LT. Hopefully he is over it now. But I’m doubting it.

I'd offer he is over it if the money is good.

A reclamation project is all well and dandy, but yall really going to sacrifice the already suspect health of Burrow with a reclamation project? We are well past that. We need someone who has already established themselves.

Scary to think folks are ok with a reclamation project protecting our injury prone QB.....

This isn't a rebuild.
