Yeah, they all benefit and it might always be murky.

But Trump was on a whole different level when it comes to corruption or nepotism.

And I feel the need to say that for I deem it dangerous to normalize Trump in that manner, as if he were just as everyone else in that regard (and only bias would make him appear worse in the eyes of the biased). He distinctly was way murkier and that is not a partisan statement.

Weirdly the linked article talks about how the Obama's made their money: royalties and investments and deals AFTER they left the WH.  At least they got that for the Obamas tax returns.

Almost like it was on the up and up.  Weird.


Maybe when we see Trumps we'll see he was on the up and up too?

Oh, I agree.  I just, as always, like to point out to the resident puritans how their people are hardly paragons of virtue themselves.

I don't know how much I agree with that, in this context.  Minimizing the grift of others by pointing out the extremities of Trump can just as easily be seen as minimizing their actions
