This is all I'm going to say about the Alton Sterling situation.

Alton Sterling, a gang affiliated man who has previously been convicted of having sex with an underage minor, was resisting arrest by two police officers. He was armed and was fatally shot while attempting to pull his gun out of his pocket. As a convicted felon, he was in unlawful possession of a firearm. He was breaking the law by resisting arrest. He was also in the process of attempting to murder the two police officers, unless he was fighting them in an attempt to get up, pull out his gun, and then peacefully hand it over to the officers...which I doubt.

If you're too stupid to realize this, then unfriend me. If you post anything that is anti-cop or pro-Sterling, I'll take care of the unfriending for you.

Wake up America. This isn't racism, gun violence, or anything else other than two good guys putting down a bad guy in the line of duty.

I believe most police officers are good people doing a job *I* would never do.


However...


I've said many times that whether it is fair or not officers of the law are and should be held to a higher standard than the average Joe.


They have the ability to take your property, your rights and you away.



That doesn't mean they are all bad or should be tried in the court of public opinion. But they are going to get more scrutiny due to their position of power in society.<--
