This looks like it could get serious

Trump, not to be out done when it comes to hyperbole, claims this "was the greatest political crime in the history of our country."

Yet, with the entire combined national intelligence community at his disposal they can't accumulate enough evidence to charge one person with one crime related to the greatest political crime in the history of our country.  If only Trump's people could be that successful at committing crimes.

They don't care about actual convistions or the results of invetsigations.  All they care about is perception.

Hillary is a crook even though she has never been found at fault after dozens of investigations by republicans over the last 30 years.  Trump is honest even though courts have found him guilty of fraud and misconduct many times.

The Clinton Foundation is dirty, but Trumps charity is the one that got shut down by the courts for corruption.

It is amazing how this goes, but you're on point here. They'd rather believe that there is some deep state conspiracy that caused this to happen. The reality is much more benign, though. There is no way a conspiracy that large would ever be able to happen. Plus, you know Occam's Razor and all. The simplest answer is that Hillary Clinton knows how to play the game within the legal bounds and Trump is as crooked as they come.

No Fred, this proves the Clintons are much worse because they know how to get away with everything--including numerous MURDERS!

Remember: One standard for the Clintons and another for everyone else!

That's what makes Trump's base so damned mad.

Remember there were people cheering when O.J. got off, even though they believed he killed his wife?

Well that's how they respond to Trump's crimes--still stickin' it to the liberals and illegals, and that's the main thing.

The way he got along with a fair share of the press, other world leaders etc. I'd dare say that the majority of people at least respected Obama, and a good number actually liked him. Obama (at least in 2008) was a sort of larger-than-life character.

Yes. Obama was both loved AND respected by a very diverse population, including most celebrities and millions of people from other countries and their leaders--except for Putin and Kim. Also Obama appeared to know how to select experienced professionals for cabinet and staff work, and was at home running meetings, delegating responsibility, judging feasibility of programs and the like.  He already knew Constitutional Law. He looked like he knew what he was doing to a large portion of the world outside Fox. No drama Obama.

Trump is also loved and respected by millions, but apparently those aren't really the people he wants respect from. He loves it when bikers and truckers support him, but they also don't really count in the social world he imagines and aspires to. They cannot validate him the way Hollywood celebrities, billionaires, and politicians can.   Some politicians do validate Trump now, but as soon as they do, he seems to lack respect for them. Think of Graham and Nunes and Cruz.

You KNOW what Obamagate is CK.    Cmon Big Grin

The OJ thing is a good example, same with that Casey Anthony thing where it was like, yea she did it but those smug prosecutors dropped the ball so we are going to let her go to stick it to them and their elitist kind.

WHOA! This is getting serious . . .

OMG!  They have gotten to Barr, too.  He's part of the Deep State!

They're protecting themselves because Trump's too dumb to protect himself. Making up crimes and trying to get Obama to testify would open up a precedent they're afraid of exploring once Trump is out of office.

“As long as I’m attorney general, the criminal justice system will not be used for partisan political ends,” Mr. Barr said during a news conference announcing that the gunman in last year’s shooting at Florida military base had links to Al Qaeda.

FINALLY--and AG who is not openly partisan. Hilarious

So refreshing after 8 years of Obama-Biden corruption! Smirk

With all the consumer and environmental protection roll-backs from this admin, asbestos pants might actually be a real thing.

And now it all makes sense.
