You might know he is from Hampton.  I had an eye doctor who had moved to a Richmond office from a Williamsburg office.  Tomlin's brother in law was also a patient and was on the sideline that game.  The doc told me he asked the in law about the play at his appointment 2 weeks after the game.  The in-law said he was on the sideline, and Tomlin yelled "watch this" as he ran up to the field.  Immediately after the game, the in-law claimed to ask Tomlin if that was why he said it, and Tomlin just winked at him.
