Trump is not close to that, and it chaps everybody's ass so bad they're all walking around in pain.
The fact that anybody would align themselves with a party that welcomes Biden, Schumer, Pelosi and the SQUAD boggles my mind
If Heaven forbid, the above gets elected. This once proud country will dissolve in to a national CHOP...

Your correct, Trump is not a professional politician. He's a professional conman --- who's bankrupted multiple businesses, lost insane sums of money through incredibly poor investments, used charitable foundations for personal gain, screwed over countless services and small businesses by not paying his tabs, has repeatedly turned on those closest to him during his life, repeatedly flaunts his ignorance and immorality, and for decades donated to and supported many of the same Democrats you detest.
He has redefined the "swamp" in a way that takes it to even further into the depths of the corrupt, unethical and immoral than ever.

You've proudly lauded your own ignorance about the opposition, while at the same time, fail to recognize that you seemingly know very little about Trump. You seem to loathe Democrats, yet have no issue supporting a man who was a life long Democrat until about 9 years ago when it became more advantageous to refer to himself as a conservative Republican. I dare say the majority of Republicans don't consider Trump and Republican, or even conservative for that matter.
He stands for none of the things you have espoused being passionate about, yet you flagrantly disregard that reality in favor of extreme tribalism and cult-like worship. When you state that you disregard everything not Republican, you are demonstrating a level of childlike behavior in which you insert fingers to ears and refuse to listen to anything that doesn't fit neatly within your very confined ideological bubble.
As it pertains to the MSM and your disregard of any news or information derived from such sources, may I ask what paragons of immaculate integrity you gather your news from. I'm interested to hear what these completely unbiased and incredibly reliable sources are so that I might have a gander.
Everything you said is completely opposite of the truth. Have you been to a Trump rally? 101% Patriotic.
I don't listen to anything from the left that espouses anti-capitalism and advocates hand-outs, sharing the wealth and/or advocating socialist progressive ideas.
My news is gained from Fox News because every other MSM is dripping with liberal, anti Trump bull shit...

This definition of anti-swamp makes zero sense to me.
I mean, there they sit, in his cabinet, in Congress, getting as much money from big donors as ever, being lobbied as bad as ever.
Why would they "control" Trump? As swamp creatures, he gives them everything they want. Tax breaks and no restrictions in any way. Wall street influence is as big as it ever was, big money benefits as ever... these are really good times for the swamp.

Sure he is. Trump is a republican now and a bunch of long standing republicans are denouncing him because they apparently were liberal nuts in disguise the entire time.

Don't forget George W Bush who showed his liberal corruption by speaking out against Trump recently. One living republican president and he's anti-Trump. Wacky.

They had a whole congressional hearing about it, Fred. Spare us your weak attempts at sarcasm and condescension.

I think people confuse "Never Trumpers" as hating the Republican party as a whole. I am a leaning to the center Democrat that has voted for Republicans in the past, yet was takin' a back by the Republican led senate during the Trump impeachment for not doing their duty and failing to live up to their oath of office. I held Rob Portman in high esteem until that moment. Yes, I was a "Never Trumper" because I could and can see him for exactly what he is. I never voted for governor Mike DeWine for anything before, but he as earned my respect and my vote if he decides to run for re-election as our Governor for the way he has conducted himself during the Covid-19 crisis. Every day DeWine proves his leadership and every day Trump proves to be the baffoon I thought he was all along. BTW, folks that decry "The Lincoln Project" are the same ones that stood up and cheered "The Swift Boat Vets", funny how that works.

Darn.
I was going to ask how you think Biden or Hillary would have responded to the Report on the Russian bounties for killing US troops.
If Trump wants to win in November, then some of his supporters need to explain why his response so far is not dereliction of duty.

Sorry, but I thought I did answer your question.
I don't think protection under the PLCAA should have anything to do with the political neutrality of gun makers, and I am not aware of anyone making that argument.

And after the hearing pretty much every legal expert was scratching his head over the Republicans claim that 40 USC 230 has anything to do with politcal neutrality of the providers. Even the Fox News legal pundit Andrew Napolitano said their position made no sense.
When Trump says "many people" there usually are some people who agree with his position. But he intentionally uses the term "many" when he knows the overwhelming majority disagrees with him.

OK, this does nothing to refute my statement.

All of which would be an outstanding argument if you were discussing this with Donald Trump.

No. But it shows that the argument "Many people agree" is basically meaningless.
I can say that "many people agree with me that the earth is flat" but it carries no authority.
I just found it interesting that you were using the same ploy that Trump loves to use so often.

Where? I don't see anywhere your addressing the firearms industry's immunity from lawsuits over the misuse of their product.

Is one a provable fact and another a matter of interpretation? Methinks yes.
Quote:I just found it interesting that you were using the same ploy that Trump loves to use so often.
I wasn't using any "ploy", I was pointing out that many people do not agree with your interpretation, which is factual. You then chose to attempt to tar me with the Trump brush. Not a tone for civil conversation.
