Jake Kumerow apparently burned Kirkpatrick a few routes. Cincy Jungle reported that Kirkpatrick had an off day.

Not sure if this is a telling sign for Kumerow or Kirkpatrick to be honest.

Tyler Boyd=Mohammad Sanu? Zampese apparently let Boyd throw a TD to Tate on a reverse pass.

I think it is a sign of kumerow bc he literally Dosent drop a single pass but also they said Kirkpatrick was taking it easy didn't wanna strain his shoulder full go on the first day... Also the Boyd td it was actually supposed to be a run the whole way but he looked up and Tate was wide open so he threw the 80 yard bomb said later that he must havre missed the signal turning it into a run but when he saw Tate he assumed that's where it was going...

Sounds good to me. I read Boyd was having trouble on the long routes getting separation.

Yerah but he was covered by Kirkpatrick who say what you will as a nfl corner he's still a 5 year veteran  going up against a rookie I don't care who you are you are gonna lose especially on a guy whose not a very big deep ball threat he's more a possession receiver catch 15-20 yards and run for 20 more as opposed to somebody like jones or green who can catch the 80 yard bombs... But with time he'll learn how to get separation and become a number 2

Boyd seems to be showing good. Read some good things about Billings being unmovable.

Brandon Lafell is garbage.

We can't have two garbage ex patriots named Brandon.

Pick one, Marvin. You can't have both.

It's like talking to a child at the store.

I agree. I think core will take over at number 2 next year either core or kumerow both have gotten nothing but the highest praises from all coaches and defenders.... I think we are just using lafell as a 1 year stop gap imo

I'm not usually excited for 5/6 WR battles but this should be a fun preseason. The Canadian player, Laps obsession with Alex Erickson, Kumerow doing his thing, and our two draft picks are an exciting bunch. I doubt anyone will snatch whoever goes on the PS but you never know.

Boyd being named player of the day, for the second day in a row, is pretty encouraging.

Completely agree.  This, combined with the fact that you don't really want your top dogs out there too long, is a good thing.  You have to be a real degenerate to bet on preseason football, but most lines are -3  for home teams and I think our second and third teamers will destroy most out there.

You guys do realize that Hobsons job is to make every player sound like the single greatest football player of all time..
I read it, but still take it all with a grain of salt.. The real test is the real season..

Wait..something wrong here.. Shouldn't this thread have been called the 2016 Training Camp Super MEGA thread? I feel cheated now..
