Bengals bringing Greg Little in for a Try out
#1
He worked out with the Jets Yesterday.
He does know the play book a bit...

I really hope they at least call Reggie Wayne.

Truth is they may have called but Wayne turned them down because of playing Time.

AJ, MJ, Sanu - When does Wayne get on the field?

Per Bleacher Report alert on my phone.

What is Little supposed to do - beat out Sanu for most drops in the NFL?

Ahead of Sanu in my mind.  The guy has money hands and runs disciplined and crisp routes.  We're fools not to do more to get him at this point.  You can't go into a playoff run with 3 wide receivers at the start of training camp.  And Little is not the answer.

You can't expect to change your performance without changing your formula.

I'd be surprised if he made it past final cuts, if we sign him.

I was going to crack a joke about bringing him back, then I saw this. No thanks we can do better than Little.

In the slot over Sanu if I had any say in the matter. Little may get signed but hopefully will then get cut after pre-season cuts start to take place. There has to be a better WR available somewhere out there. He has the tools but still doesn't seem to understand how to use them.

I agree with all the ones who say I hope there's something better out there.

Wish we would sign someone who could play special teams becuase that's where losing wright hurts the most.

Great job Bengals in trying to actually shore up the WR depth this offseason, even before Wright's injury. It would be one thing if Sanu was good, but since he isnt we better pray AJ, MJ, and Eifert all are healthy, with hopes of the rook making plays too.

Hey, if you read Mr G Hobson much you would know that he and Sanu are buddies. . I mean c'mon! Having favor with Geoff ought to count for something shouldn't it?

The oldest WR on the Bengals roster is Brandon Tate at (I think) 26 years old.  Wayne is not a diva and could help lend quality depth.  He may not be a burner but he knows how to set people up and get open.  I would definitely look at him, especially with one receiver already lost for the season.

I agree...the Bengals are making a mistake here.  Maybe Hamilton or Alford steps up.  We know what Greg Little is and it is not remotely good.

Oh this is sad. Is anyone available in a trade?

Burhead to WR and we keep Wilder on the 53 man roster is an idea. Or maybe we could think outside the box and give Adam Jones a shot at something new and different.

Why would we have to bring Little in for a tryout. he played here last year so we should know exactly what he can do.

We still have Green, Jones, Samu, and Moore. That is a pretty solid top 4.

I prefer Moore to Little.

It's not like we're decimated at the WR position. We just lost Wright. Him and Moore were battling for the #4 spot anyway. Behind Moore is Alford, Hamilton, and Tate.

Give me the speedy receiver as a #4 option. We needed speed during that playoff game and just didn't have it.

Won't be surprised at all if they sign him. He has game experience here and is familiar with the system.
Could they do better? Probably
Will they ? I doubt it.
