If he does this will be one of the most disgusting things to happen to this country since the democrats were putting jap Americans into concentration camps. The country will be ruined by allowing these illegals to have amnesty. Anyone who followed the laws to immigrate here should be refunded for all the time and money spent folllowing the laws. Just disgusting. Quote:Report: Trump Caves on DACA, Wants ‘Quick’ Amnesty for 800K Illegal Aliens

Disgusting.

Well it seems democrats admit border security is a major issue and want to beef up security in a major way. Does this make them racist?

Outside of seeing an immigration point system..... this is just disappointing.
I could care less about the wall.

Doesn't surprise me. Crushing DACA has been pretty unpopular with most Americans. If something is unpopular enough, politicians will move on it... regardless of party politics.

It's a slap in the face to those people that these people get in when they have had as long as 18 years to ge themselves right with the law. I am all for sympathy for the under 18 crowd. But 18-36 need to be gone with the ability to apply from their native country.

It goes concentration camps, DACA amnesty, installing Pinochet and lieing to the world about Iraqi weapons... in that order. Funny though, that after all the betrayals, lies and empty promises Trump is guilty of this ends up to be the major sin his base doesn't forgive. Talking to Democrats and doing the popular thing, letting some assimilated immigrants stay. Eeeek. Working with the "other side" is "caving". Finding solutions is "not sticking to your beliefs". It's sad. Your anger and ego will always reveal your true self.

But the beauty of it is that DACA will be seen as what it was intended to be: A step toward keeping the "good" immigrants who, many through no fault of their own, were brought here and and then made the best of it on their own. Who willingly exposed themselves to xenophobes who cannot see past the country of origin and skin color just in the hopes of one day becoming a legal citizen in the only home they have ever known in a lot of cases. And there will be shown that those who oppose such a deal do it purely from a personal reaction with no understanding for the reasoning behind it. Note: They're repairing fences. Just like every admin for decades. Oh, and Mexico isn't paying for that either. And just now he's telling his base this:

People who have openly thwarted the law for up to 18 years. The people who have actually needed to wait to get visas then endless paperwork and time to get green cards are the ones being screwed. I'm sure they would have preferred to sneak across the border like a thief in the night. If you don't force people to respect your laws then what's the point.

I love how you act like DACA is some great thing. Yes the under 18 children are a concern. But these over 18's have had plenty of them to get themselves right with the law. They obviously don't care about the laws. They only did daca because obama promised then they wouldn't be deported. |
