Why pardon the gun enthusiasts but not someone in prison 43 years on a wrongful conviction?

Possibly the contrast makes a point about about how justice worked for the unrepentant 2A patriots, 
but not for the wrongfully convicted.

So the thread is still about them if the difference is the question and justice-for-some is the theme.
