There might be some more susceptible like there are alcoholics or fat people are more inclined to their behvaior more so than others.   Sexual "identity/preference" is in this same ballpark.

You could be susceptible to getting the flu if you have a weak immune system or if you come into contact with bodily fluids. You aren't susceptible to catching homosexuality.
