Cowherd makes Bengals #1 |

I was shocked just now as Cowherd, who used to totally bash the Bengals and has a love affair with the Patriots and a man crush on Tom Brady, made the Bengals #1 over the Pats. Part of his reasoning was that with the loss of the Pats RB and weakness in the secondary, and with the overall balance of the Bengals roster. He also pointed out that the Bengals have had four blowout wins. I know a lot of people hate Cowherd and sometimes he ticks me off too but he knows his football and he's obviously impressed with our Bengals.

Eifert on Mike & Mike |

Not only claimed he could have played D-1 basketball in college, but says he would have been a guard instead of a forward. Claims he had good ball handling skills. I don't doubt it at all.
Also says he has a 3 handicap in golf. He is just one of those natural athletes that can do whatever he wants.
Mike Golic has always been a big fan of Eifert because his son played TE at ND the same time Tyler was there. Eifert said the only ND game he has got to attend this year was against Pittsburgh. Said it felt strange to watch a game in Heinz Field.

What I would do with C. J. Uzomah |

Start training him right now to play press coverage against Gronk. He doesn't have to learn how to drop in a zone. He doesn't have to learn how to read formations to decide who he will cover. All he has to do is learn how to get up in Gronk's face; disrupt his timing as he comes off the line of scrimmage; beat him up for 5 yards; then flip his hips and pray that he has help behind him.
Gronkowski...6'6", 265, 4.65 forty
Uzomah........6'5', 265, 4.65 forty
Might as well make him a safety for one game. he isn't doing anything else for the team

It's not like we haven't made the playoffs 4 years in a row but alot of our guys deserve to make the pro bowl and they get snubbed since they aren't on a household name team..
Dunlap and whit come to mind as guys who have gotten robbed the past couple of years to me.
With us being undefeated and hopefully finishing as a #3 seed at worst. Do whit Dunlap and illoka finally get the recognition they deserve? If they get snubbed this year then gotta think they always will.
Gotta think aj, dalton, eifert and pacman should be locks as of now .

While waiting for MNF game, I thought I'd put this up, and see what we can come up with.
Eifert vs Gronkowski
1. Similarities?
2. Differences?
3. Obvious bias aside, is one better overall, than the other?

Brady 141,750
Rodgers 120,242
Dalton 114, 368
Freeman 103,334
Gronk 101,674
not a bad start! especially considering the top 2 are almost a given. After 2 losses Rodgers may see a slight downtick over the next week
