So who do we root for Thursday?

I guess rooting for the Ravens makes the most sense.

  Why was Eifert blocking Dumervil?
Posted by: masterpanthera_t - 09-27-2015, 07:02 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (29)

Glad that we won after giving up the lead, but is anyone else wondering why Eifert was blocking Dumervil on the scoop and score play? While he may have improved his blocking (I don't know if this is true or not), why was he blocking one of the better DEs in the league on 3rd and long? This terrible decision almost cost the Bengals the game. Hope this kind of coaching decision-making gets fixed.

Very pleased at what I saw today
Posted by: Bengalzona - 09-27-2015, 06:44 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (47)

This team played with fire and poise today. Although both defenses seemed to go south for the fourth quarter, the offense never gave in and kept fighting back. Not only did they fight back, but they kept their heads and made good plays. We knew this was going to be a tough one for the team going in: a division rival who had never gone 0 and 3 sitting on 0 and 2. At home, no less. We knew they would throw everything including the kitchen sink at us, and they did. And Baltimore is not a bad team, despite their record.

I liked what I saw from the offense today and I hope they keep that up for the rest of the season and into the playoffs. We played like a team that expected to be 3 and 0, not a team that was complacent to slink out of town with a tight win IMO.

  The fake punt

Anyone else think Marvin should have challenged that? I thought he fumbled and recovered before the 30 yard line (about a 1/3 of a yard).

Anyone got that replay?

Is anyone else still mad as hell?
Posted by: Ricky Spanish - 09-27-2015, 06:39 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (87)

I'm glad we won but I have been mad as hell since that absolutely ridiculous call on the obvious Eifert TD.

I can't get over it. We would have been up 28-0 if not for that and the endzone pick.

Not to mention Marvin Lewis decided to not use any timeouts when we are at midfield with the ball before halftime.

Oh my god I am so pissed off

Had to laugh at this comment about the Ben R injury
Posted by: BoomerFan - 09-27-2015, 06:03 PM - Forum: JUNGLE NOISE - Replies (63)

I don't want anyone to get injured and I'd rather beat a team at their best, but in the reddit thread a lot of Steelers fans were calling the hit on Ben Roethlisberger a dirty hit and a lot of Rams fans were saying it wasn't. A Bengals fan posted:

Carson Palmer sends his regards

Great start for our Bengals in 2015....2 of these wins have been on the road, so still 7 JUNGLE games left. If we win at home, that is 10 wins right there.....Also like that Bengals beat Oakland and then Oakland beat Ravens and Browns which is as good as a head to head win division win over both....GO BENGALS !!! ANDY DALTON- 383 Yards, 3 TDs passing, 1 TD rushing, 122.3 passer rating

AJ GREEN- 10 catches, 227 receiving yards, TDs

ADAM JONES- 6 tackles, 1 INT, 1 KR for 32 yards

VINNEY REY- 8 tackles, pressure caused face mask that sealed the game
