I Like What I Read About Bengals In Sunday Paper |

The story was this mini camp and how Eifert looks 100 % back from his injury and Atkins now looks 100 % back from his injury. .....The bad news is Burfict is still pretty messed up and we don't have a lot of great depth at linebacker. But Atkins, Dunlap, MJ, Peko, Simms, and just a lot of talent on the D Line should make this a Super Bowl type D Line. Our DB's don't give up many points either. ....Maybe Hawk can add to the LBs and if the LBs can play good ball, I look for a Super Bowl type D. ....This isn't IF's and MAYBE's, it's the best talent this franchise has ever had at D Line.
So most of the Sunday News about Bengals was excellent. Makes me ready for some BENGALS football. ....as always, GO BENGALS !!!!!.......There was the Fearsome Foursome and Doomsday and The Steel Curtain....Has anybody ever used THE CLAW or THE TIGER ATTACK as a D Line name....Bengals may end up needing a name for this Defense because it should be awesome up front. Loaded with talent. Some real talent won't make the team at D Line....Hopefully some other team is loaded up at LB and we can grab more depth before the start of the season as the cuts come down.

Finally the coaching staff is going to give him a shot on offense. I have high hopes for the kid. I've always though we should have tried to see what he could bring to the offense. Especially after losing Baby Hawk. At the very least as a kick returner.

All below is from Cincy Jungle
In the meantime, cornerback Leon Hall worked with the first-team defense... not at cornerback, but at safety. Hall did some work at safety during voluntary practice last week, but this is the first time its been with the first-team defense. Adam Jones and Dre Kirkpatrick were the cornerbacks with the first-team defense.
There are a couple of possibilities as to why Hall is at safety. Conspiracy theorists will point to similar transitions made by players like Rod and Charles Woodson as they got older and it both extended their careers and added to their respective resumes. With Hall battling Achilles injuries to both legs in two of the past four seasons, this might be a ploy by the coaches to help keep him injury-free and hide potential speed limitations we saw at times last seasons.
Then again, it could be just a move made out of necessity because George Iloka is still sitting out of practice. It sounds like he's eyeing a return when Training Camp commences, but youngsters like Shaw, Derron Smith and the veteran Hall could be getting time mostly because of Iloka's present vacancy.

From Hobs...
Left end Carlos Dunlap can’t set his goal any higher. He’s shooting for 23 sacks because the NFL record is Michael Strahan’s 22.5 in 2001 for the Giants. Dunlap, who had a career-high 9.5 sacks as a rookie in 2010, says he spent his offseason focusing on his get-off and using a stance that is more “functional than comfortable.”
