With Joe Burrow, we are always going to be picking in this range when he is healthy..... 15th to 32nd, and there is no question about that.
What we all know we need.... is impact players, and we need them NOW.
If Abdul Carter really is a generational talent and a game changer like Micah Parsons, or there is someone else like that attainable in the top 10 who immediately becomes an impact player like Ja'Marr Chase was.... Why don't we trade a future first or this years second and this years first... and move up?
We never make those moves, and we need IMPACT PLAYERS.
What do you guys think?

38 year old Hodges comes to the Bengals from the Saints where he was their LB coach for the last 5 years. He was first a defensive assistant with them then assistant LB coach.

After watching the NFL playoffs ( only two games did QB have 300 or more yards vs 7 games RBs had over 100 yards), and seeing the increased success of late with running teams, was wondering if we need to run the ball more often next year. I noticed that we 3-1 this year when Brown got 20 or more carries. Of course part of running the ball less was our defense put us in that position but we also know that under Taylor/Burrow we have tended to be one of the lower teams in running plays. Maybe with Peters as our new Oline coach we might see more running the ball. Thoughts?

Tee Higgins projected to get $112 million deal, according to Pro Football Focus
Tee Higgins may want to stay in Cincinnati, but based on Pro Football Focus’ projected contract, his price tag might be out of the Bengals’ range.
The football data site predicts that Higgins, the top free agent of the 2025 offseason, will get a deal worth $112 over four years with $67.5 million guaranteed. That comes out to $28 million per year.
Even though he missed five games due to injury, Higgins, still just 26 years old, finished as PFF’s eighth best receiver overall with a season grade of 88.2. He “consistently produced at a high level”, according to PFF’s free agency profile of the receiver.
The question is, will the Bengals value Higgins as much as PFF does? And will they pay him like the elite receiver he is when the team has another elite receiver (Ja’Marr Chase) to pay as well as an elite pass rusher (Trey Hendrickson) to pay at some point?

It is no secret two of our biggest weaknesses were our OL and DL. All linemen need power (strength) and burst to be successful. i did not see a burst from our OL getting off the ball on run plays and saw our OL get bull rushed at times. Our DL had no one who commanded double teams other than Trey. DT's did not need to be double teamed a lot (Hill at times) because other team's OL handled them allowing those teams to use OL to attack our second level.
I know we have some experts or more versed posters like Sunset, I am no expert. i know our OL and DL coach were fired. To me, they were fired for technique and scheme issues.
My question is why did the 3 strength coaches who have a state-of-the-art workout room get a pass? Should they share some accountability?

Joey Boese
Diamond Simmons
Garrett Swanson
I know it is also on the players. It is good to see Orlando Brown stay in Cincinnati as his fractures in his leg heal and work on strength and conditioning.

2 of those playoff games were against the Bengals who were the least penalized teams those years but magically they became penalty magnets in Arrowhead
The team in red is the Bengals
