I have no doubt they planned on taking Nolen and got left with their pants down after he got picked right in front of them. How do you pick a player who is all traits and no production without talking to him and finding out what the deal is?

We drafted his teammate last year. And spent the last year with that teammate playing for us and talking to our guys. They like picking players brains so maybe McKinnley gave a glowing recommendation .

Be interesting to see what the Falcons sent to the Rams to get back into the first round.

Falcons just traded a first rounder next year to trade up from the mid 40s to 26.

Like I said, I'm trusting our coaches with this one and I think it could be a hell of a pick. Hoping for a d tackle and also a guard, but I almost think we're better off praying for quality free agent guards.
