Don’t know the answer but the slow starts are going to keep us out of the playoffs 2 years in a row. Thats got to be fixed. I don’t know who re-signs or how the puzzle will work. It’s obvious Joe & Zac want Tee & Chase on the team. The FO better heed them. They’ve got to replace Volson. They’ve got to replace Cappa. They’ve got to add a DT. Corner is an issue. The team is not as good as we all thought. The defense has not hit on anybody on defense in several drafts. Logan Wilson is the last. The scouting department needs more help. I’m mixed on Lou. There’s staff changes coming though.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

I hope I'm wrong.

Replacing Lou needs to be job one - I don't care about the late season surge the fact that it took him 12 games to figure out his players could not execute his defense and it had to be adjusted is a major indictment of him as a coach. Free Agency resign Tee and land a legit NFL starter quality Guard and NT and you can call that a day. Then use the draft in part to get another Guard early and to restock EDGE.

I can see moving on from Lou but We have to focus offseason on DE and DT we have to get an impact Edge rusher to bookend with Tre as a big Free agent, find a run stopper. I fine tagging Tee, drafting his replacement this year and restructure Tre contract to lock him up next 4 years. We had a top 5 offense and a bottom 5 defense.. we have to dedicate this FA and draft to defense outside of a FA guard and drafting a WR 1 or 2 round depending what is there between 12th to 17th probably position.

GB actually had him take snaps at every OL position except C in his rookie year before taking over as full-time RT in 2023. I like a few of the FA IOL to replace Volson and/or Cappa, plus there will always likely be a couple IOL in the draft who should contribute well early. Day 2 is a good target for an IOL. I'm not really liking the options at 17th overall though, so probably go defense at that pick...or pass catcher if Higgins or Gesicki walks.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward. Sorry for Party Rocking!

I don't care how they do it, but I'm hoping for this:
1. Better pash rush 2. Better interior O-line play 3. Ability to get off the field on 3rd down 4. More speed on defense |
