Tee’s market price (Update: 3 March 25, Tee has been tagged again)
(9 hours ago)TheLeonardLeap Wrote: It's nice to rewrite history, but the Browns so vastly overpaid Zeitler that they traded him 2 years later and the team that traded for him cut him 2 years after that rather than pay him the end of the contract. Until last year (playing between an All-Pro and a Second Team All-Pro) he had never been as good as he was here, and that was only just pretty good not even very good, let alone great.

Zeitler was an above average player who became the highest paid guard in all of football. I will never feel bad about not signing him to that deal.

I agree.  Zeitler wasnt worth the contract the Browns gave him.  Zeitler is the BJ Hill equivalent of an offensive lineman.  A good, above average lineman but not great and certainly never elite.

Well, I don't think any team will give him an offer if it would cost them 2 first round picks is what I am saying...

Sorry must of misunderstood you.  Yes I don't think any team is going to make him an offer and give up 2 firsts if the Bengals don't match.  But that doesn't make him unable to be traded.    He can still be traded to a team for whatever.  Examples 2nd round pick plus a player, or a 1st pick, or a 3rd round pick plus a year of Skyline Chili for the team cafeteria, etc.. If the bengals hit on some draft picks since Chase and Tee there would be an argument not to sign both of them.

But they haven’t. There aren’t any young players up for contracts soon that have anywhere close to Tee’s value.

Okay, guess that is an out so he can be traded, thanks George. Smirk

Actually liked TLL's trade thought in Brad's Mayer thread.

Yeah sorry I realized I made a typo in my first reply to you and posted non-exclusive "trade" instead of "tag".  Edited that earlier post. Sorry for the confusion.

If Higgins saw 130+ targets, he would be on pace, or more likely shatter green.

No season where green had under 130 targets, yet still more targets than tee, was he any more productive.

Both really good WRs
