If by "date" you mean, go out to movies, functions, and such, why not? I don't like dining in front of people so that would be one thing not to have to worry about. The real problem with the running water part...I would hope he could cross bridges or else we couldn't go to football games.

I'd probably stake him if it ever got serious, though. I can't risk exsanguination. Of course, he'd know that and hypnotize me before that happened, which would mean I'm in trouble either way.
