Chase not Practicing

Chase’s “hold-in” is obviously not ideal, but at least him and ownership seem to be on good terms.

As a Sooner very familiar with CeeDee. Damn all those WR except Tee are equipped with giant egos.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

I thought the new CBA changed holdouts because teams could no longer forgive the fines or something?

Lamb skipped the Cowboys' mandatory minicamp in June, leading to fines totaling roughly $100,000, although those can be rescinded by the team. Lamb is being fined $50,000 for every day he has missed during training camp, which cannot be rescinded.

You have to be a certain kind of stupid to be content getting fined $50,000 a day for not showing up to the job where you're trying to demand a 100%+ raise.

All those WRs with giant egos except Tee aren't coming off sub-700 yard seasons, and Tee still demanded a trade.

Well, he didn't really "demand" a trade, he wants to be here. He just said if you can't pay me, then trade me.

I may be crazy but WR and smart often times don’t go together.

When Burton was healthy, I didn't even hear a thing about Irwin. Burton this, Burton that, impressing etc.

Since the tweaked ankle, crickets.

Then alas Burrow went out and almost immediately we had the ridiculous Stealer game where Browning was holding the ball too long and Yoshi burnt the secondary twice and was wide open for TDs but Browning failed to pull the trigger. His big issue area was catching the ball with his body and it sure seems he worked on that in offseason.

Having Yoshi and drafting Burton are why Chuck Sizzle being hurt is not as big an issue as it might have been.

Spot on, Burrow won't miss Iosivas like Browning did. Plus with how much Iosivas has improved in catching the ball with his hands away
from his body he might have a great preseason and even push for that WR3 spot especially with Burton and now Chuck hurt. Losing Chuck
hurts us the most on Punt Returns. We will see who will take up the PR duties with Chuck hurt now.

Pretty sure teams can "excuse" not showing to mini-camp. They cannot excuse not showing to Training Camp. For instance IDT T. Brown was fined because his absense was excused.

Joe burrow attempted 365 passes last year, 6 went Iosivas’s way.
Joe burrow completed 244 passes, 4 to Iosivas.
Joe burrow threw for 2,300 yards, 23 went to Iosivas.

Iosivas may have an immense amount of upside, but he has not proven much at the NFL Level. Let’s please slow down the Iosivas narrative.

I hope I’m wrong, as I am a fan of him as well, but the last few days have been numbing with “hot takes”.

Too much drama. Not looking good for Chase. Also there's this "While Chase’s absence is a change, Jay Morrison of ProFootballNetwork.com said it appears to be a lighter practice focused more on special teams. The Bengals are traveling to Chicago to practice with the Bears later this week."

All Zac said after practice is that Ja'Marr is "day to day"

have fun dissecting that statement

I fear next Chase's body is going to tell him to scrub his Bengals Social Media.

Every offseason is full of drama. And then it ratchets up at camp.

Time is running out and he's not going to win this standoff with MB. Chase is going to have to decide soon if he's going to miss games or show up and practice and start getting ready for the season.

I thought it was yesterday Chase and Burrow’s fathers were at camp. I was hoping they were in town to celebrate a new deal or something.

Don't like it, but it will be much ado about nothing. He will play, eventually. He will sign a big contract, at some point. Everything else is fluff.

What Zac should have said was "if he plans on being a Bengal this year his azz needs to be out here working with the team." But no, head coach can't say what is needed cause we can't upset someone and hurt someones feelings now can we? I mean they might do something drastic like holdout or holdin or something earth shattering like that.
