Fire Everyone Pay No One Else

Zac Taylor is so overrated. I've been saying it for years. The offense looked so damn bad. Offensive guru my ass

Sounds like a change in the OL coach is needed more than anything
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

The staff just doesn't have the team ready Game 1. Maybe it's the soft training camps?

I don't know if the training camps are soft or not. But I do know that not having starters playing together more than one series in preseason game is a recipe for a slow start. Andy Reid, who knows something about football, plays Mahomes and other starters in preseason games because he says nothing replicates the speed of game action like actually playing in preseason.

The team looked totally unprepared today for game action. The team will fix this, like they always do, but losing the first game or two of the season continuously puts them in a hole.

Reality comes at you fast. Congrats to Higgins and Chase on avoiding a lifetime sentence in this purgatory. Sit this year. It’ll be worth the fines in the long run.

Fire Zac, don’t fire him; who gives a shit. No one is winning here. But he’s not a good coach. Shows up at bars, though, and that’s pretty cool.

I'd bet Mixon has a better chance to win a SB with Houston than Burrow does here. Actually I don't think Burrow will win a SB or even get another one here. He may do it with another team in a few years if his health holds up.

He will be ok.  He has 100's of millions of reasons to be just fine with that.

I couldn't understand the short passes. You have a QB who can throw. Maybe it's Burrow, maybe it's the play calling. Either way, not pleasant.

His chances in Houston are exponentially higher than they were here. Glad he got out. I hope for the same for all of you.

Call me weird but I have a specific dislike of losses with low scores where the QB throws 0 TDS and 0 Ints.  It just stinks of being more interested in playing mistake free than winning.

Even in cover two, you have to take shots down the field and trust your guys. When we threw it to Iosivas we got the DPi. Looking at other games around the league, you see QBs giving their guys a chance to win contested catches. I’m not saying you make a living of it but we can’t be scared to push vertical even when it’s not ideal.

For instance, let’s say we went trips and locked Burton to the backside with Chase in the slot and wide to the trips side. With Chase in the slot in this case you have a stressed to two high because Burton is now iso but has the safety over him. This most likely would create a check to a lock call on that side and the Safety overtop would now rob to take away Chase running the cross/post. Now we can push vertical to Burtonwho has excelled at that one thin this whole preseason.

If you want, swap Burton and Chase. Now they don’t lock Chase and you can use Burton in the slot to split the two high. If they are off Chase you can run the slant to Chase on the iso side as the leverage will be to the strong side. There are answers, it can’t just be run 3 yard drags or panic.

We have to figure out how to schematically deal with cover two or we go nowhere. Running is the easy answer but we suck at doing it so we need other answers with our passing game and they are there but we can’t just do the same crap we have always done.

For Zac to get canned? I don't see it happening during a season.

Carson Palmer seems to have been 100% correct. I am really getting tired of this and wondering why I punish myself so. May be time to move on. I am sure I will calm down but man I am upset.

I don't think Burrow is ruined...but Taylor's offense and game prep has always been bad.

When they had a qb and wrs on rookie deals, they had enough talent to overcome it.

Now they have to rely on more young guys who aren't ready.

No way man!  I'll come here to vent and rant and sometimes say stupid things, but I will always watch every game I can and root for the Bengals to win!

It may not seem like that from some of my posts, but I can assure you I am rooting for a win every single time they play.  I will watch and root for the Bengals until my dying breath.  lol.

ZR is here unless Burrow demands he gets canned.  I can't foresee us moving on from him for at least a decade.

They've done this for years. The offense needs deep shots to open things up.

Yes. Cover 2 is so basic. The Bengals scheme is just weak.

We've seen this show. They'll suck early then look better halfway through the season.
