It was better but things I don’t get...

Came close to beating the Chiefs, and that means a lot.

Bad news is we're 0-2 against teams that especially matter down the stretch.

I don't understand Chase Browns usage. I'm more than fine giving Moss the greater amount of carries but everything brown had a decent run they pulled him and put moss in. I'm no offensive genius by my back rips off a 10 yd + run I'm either giving it back to him or keeping him back there to take focus from the defense. I know we tried some screens with him but let's give him some routes across the field or hit him off presnap motion.
Overall it's hard for me to find faults right now. I would've gone for 2 after the one score where Mac missed the extra point.

I'm with you.  No need to keep hitting him in the facemask with touchdown passes.

Burrow is still not quite back to normal, but I feel pretty good about how he looked physically at least. And that’s the most important thing.

258 yards, 2 TD’s, 0 INT, 103.7 passer rating

Could have been even better without the drops. Step in the right direction anyway.

I'm not sure the Pats will matter down the stretch... but maybe you're pointing out that we're yet again putting ourselves in a hole in terms of Conference record?

Will there ever be a season the Bengals hold a damn tiebreaker!

Missed pat. Burrow fumble.

Bad teams find ways to lose.

The 3 big plays of the game that cost us were.

Burrow not running it in and soup boy getting bonked by the ball in the helmet.

The Burrow fumble I’m not sure that gets overturned if Burrow doesn’t shit himself and act like he’s actually fumbled it.

The Gesicki drop the play before a first down there slows everything down and we can drive.

It’s the same old story the Bengals beat themselves the defence in the 2nd half were outstanding there aren’t many who hold Mahomes like that.

The record looks shit we could just as easily be 2-0 the rats have looked worse than us.

The division is still in our hands but it’s time for the players to send Zac out for a cup of tea and have a meeting amongst themselves to sort this shit, it’s simple high school mistakes that are killing us.

The fumble aside Burrow looked like himself in the 2nd half I was really worried in the 1st half but something seemed to click.

There are tons of things that you can say win/dont win a game. The refs completley  took this game with a bs penalty that never gets called, especially on 4th and 16. You can try and be THAT GUY and pretend that it was legit. The game was over and they directly influenced the outcome with a bogus PI call.

Yeah, to me it's like "you're only going to get 5 carries so make them count". Like if he gets 20 carries is he going to do worse than Moss (2.8 YPC?).

Moss looks like Mixon back there, chase brown does not. I guess the problem with Chase brown is maybe he can't block as well?

Yeah I should have pointed out directly that it sucks we didn't beat either conference team.

Played alright. Did a great job on first down most of the game. Not very any second and longs

Do we have any plays where we let our offensive line put their hats on someone and drive their feet? Toss Sweep on goal line to short side of field with all the offensive lineman giving ground before contact was gross.

Hendrickson is awesome, but I think that absent of him, we are pretty suspect everywhere on defense. Flash and trash every series.
Maybe we discovered TEs can be a great benefit to our offense. Let's use that.
Think we can pay attention who is the #1 running back.
Irwin should be an HVAC tech or something.
Bribe Higgins with whatever to make him come back.

The overall roster talent is a tier or 2 below the SB year.

Missed PAT
Burrow fumble and TD
Penalty on 4th and long
Burrow throwing to Irwin when he could’ve ran it for a first down/TD
Giesiecki(sp?) with another crucial drop before the Burrow TD(although he had a solid game otherwise)

Positives
Burton showed promise
Yoshi
Thought the D played well
Erick All

Sure I’m missing something

I liked the use of the TE’s today with different formations vs shot gun 3 WR’s and letting teams tee off on us. Are best runs were with Drew Sample at FB plus it makes are offensive more physical. However 1st and goal from the half inch line throw on 1st down ? And then a sweep. 4 chances to gain half a yard just need to pound it in there. Even when Higgins returns id still like some double tight sets. Burrow takes to many shot we still gotta figure out how to be more physical and run the ball.

It was petulant and the kind of thing you don't want to see from your star WR in crunch time.

the worst thing was Chase wasn't even right. I thought it must have been an obvious facemask or hip-drop tackle that caused Chase to go off on the ref, but there wasn't anything there. If not for that meltdown, the Bengals had a good chance to keep the drive going, perhaps for a TD.

We won't win a superbowl because we can't do that. It's been like this in all of Mixon's tenure and it continues. To me, this is literally all. You can't pick up 4th and 1 or goal line 1 yard in 4 attempts, you have no chance.

Chiefs also got stopped near the goal line and had to settle for 3.  it happens.

I had saw that too. Was wide open to get great yardage, even for Joe, and he threw the ball, anyway.

He struck out 1330 times in 8399 AB which is 16% of the time. Don't ask me what this means related to the Bengals game.
