I do think Battle needs to play though; especially over Bell.

You can call me a free safety too, doesn't mean I can actually cover anyone. Certainly not Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice.

They can still be friends when he is on the practice squad. Jackson or Pryor are upgrades over Irwin.

We need Trey to step up against the run this year after the Sample injury not many other options till we get guys back from injuries like Murphey.

Reader is already good to go, too.

I agree but Tycen Anderson would be a better option then Anthony.

It's not like he stops trying on run plays. I saw a few where he made his way around to be in on runs up the middle, from behind the play. At first I thought that it was Hubbard, until I saw his number. That's great effort, even if he was only assisting on the play.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Maybe; I think they view Anderson as a special teams specific player though.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

I agree he is just improved over last year. His motor never stops think this guy might play till he is 35 and still be productive.

Saw a snapshot of Lous presser.....said he wanted guys who were "rangey" in that situation and that Battle will have his role. "I'm not down on Jordan at all." So I'm assuming Anthony is faster ?

I agree. He was pretty good Sunday... maybe the best I've seen him against the run.

No doubt. There certainly isn't a lack of effort.

Maybe JaMarr does benefit from having Tee on the other side

Both Wilson and especially Pratt looked good against the run as well and that Pacheco is no slouch. It is going to hurt them Chiefs losing him.

On the play he got hurt Tufele was a little dirty maybe bending Pacheco over backwards. Was rough to watch. I liked what I saw of Tufele too
against the run and hopefully we can get Kris Jenkins back by the Commanders game.

Lou knew Battle from high school. His son attended school with him. He was interviewed said Anthony was better in that particular situation. I’m not going to nitpick the guy as Kielce had 1 catch 5 yards and Mahomes lowest passing yards ever as a starter
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Just an FYI, Lou didnt know Jordan in high school.  I know he mentioned Saint Thomas Aquinas and Im not sure when Chris attended.  He didnt graduate from there and is a couple years younger.  Louis is way older than Battle.  If i remember correctly his son told him about knowing Battle after we drafted him.

Not really. I didn't see anything horrible from him. Not sure who is giving these scores, but the line looked good to me. Burrow mostly had time and was kept pretty clean.
