Bad weather is not isolated to "cold" cities
atlanta GA is not a destination spot for families  wanting to get out of the bad weather in winter and you know this..its rainy wet, snowy  with temps hovering between the low 30s to high 40s..a little better than we here..but not much

Uhm, I lived in NC for 23 years, prior to moving home to Ohio. In that duration, I can remember about 5 measurable snow falls. (Not counting the mountainous areas) When it does snow in the South, people don't know how to deal with it. They will literally park their cars and start walking.

This, this is exactly why there should still be open air stadiums in the NFL.

Can see both sides when it comes to having a dome.

We already have the best home support in the NFL with a dome we probably break the decibel level every other week.

It gives the city use for it in the offseason and that’s the kicker if they want it they should pay for it.

If I had the casting vote I’d say no to it, I was at the Baltimore game the other week and it was boiling then I’ve been to games where it’s freezing and that is proper football weather.

Then again I’ve been lucky the past 6 years the last time I was at a game and it pissed it down was the Steelers at home in 2018.

Keep the stadium as it is apart from the proposed updates, build the proper facility next door and hold the FO accountable to putting a team on the field worthy of the investment.

Yeah... Pretty close as the crow flies, but everything and everywhere seems to be 3 hours away out here. I love it though.

Other than high school I've never been to a football game in my life and that game was the coldest day of the year and I wasn't playing. If I want freezing cold I'll take my time walking to the mailbox. Hilarious  Wait..I live in South Carolina these days.. Never mind..

Plus, it helps reduce risk of injuries with people slipping in rain/snow, change of gameplan on the same, and removes impact of wind on kickers and passing.

Not to mention it would also add a year-round venue for other things like concerts.
There are two other big outdoor-only venues that can continue to be used for concerts and the like - Riverbend (20k capacity) and GABP (42k capacity).
However, all the indoor venues are much smaller in comparison. Heritage Bank Center is the largest indoor venue right now and it only has 17.5k seating capacity.
This was posted on HBC's website I dunno how long ago, but it goes into detail the problems that this venue has - https://heritagebankcenter.com/whatsnextcincy

we have been going to games 25 plus years ..aside from one game with too much rain..nothing to complain about and most fans could care less about a dome

Ok. Your opinion vs mine, I guess.
I am not a fan of watching a game in rain, snow, or overly cold.

It doesn't change the fact that they could do more events at the venue by having it as a climate controlled, indoor large venue.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

The county announced today that adding a dome to Paycor would cost $900,000,000 to $1billion

Okay, Hamilton county taxpayers, time to open those wallets!  The rest of us want to see a dome on our teevees!

At that price tag for the County not logical, plus with the competition with Indy in our backdoor, it was take a long long time for County to actually recope their investment

That blows since everyone wants to be fans of the gritty Detroit Lions now.

What if we compromise and have a done so we can host concerts and events but also have a water system installed in it so we can make it artificially pour water all over the place for football games and turn up the air conditioning inside so it is 10 degrees?

As more and more teams build domed stadiums, those with open air stadiums are at more and more of a disadvantage. Hard to see the point in that just so you can say football should be played outdoors when no one else is doing it.

Afterwards we can all go to my restaurant where I mandate that all my employees must NOT wash their hands after using the restroom.  The restaurant also pours water on you the whole time.

All jokes aside, if domes are soft the stadiums in Oakland and DC that pour raw sewage on fans are the toughest.

A dome???? This ownership won’t even build a practice bubble or a walkway over the street to the practice field! The Brown family will never go for that.
