Murphy’s 35% pass rush win rate was the 2nd highest of the season by any Bengal. He has a golden opportunity over these last few games with Hubbard likely out.

God I hope they keep Stone and make Murphy the full time starter with no competition

And one of the big whipping boys on last week's PFF grade posting was McKinley Jackson, who had the second highest PFF grade yesterday.

Hubbard's done for the year, so he's definitely going to see the Lion's share of the snaps. Ready for it!

Which I don't know why, he gets great push for a space eater and he has a wicked first step: I wrote this on Twitter yesterday and had like 11 likes in an hour or something lol, he's not Reader, but McKinnley will be a good player for many years for us, I feel.

I am SMH on the constant postings on Murphys "Win Rate", what exactly does this really mean?
I do not notice him when he is on the field and good pass rushers get noticed and convert so called "wins" into pressures, hits to QB , sacks or TFLs.
He is a bust and we need to get a legit threat opposite Trey. I'm seeing other players around the league picked later then him in that draft KILLING it.

I believe he had 3 pressures and a QB hit against the Titans. One of them on JC Latham helped cause the Newton INT. Anyway, I’m no big Myles Murphy guy, but it’s ok to give credit when it’s due. He doesn’t have to be “assberries” or a bust, just like I’m not ready to pencil him in as a starter or pretend that EDGE isn’t a need. Let’s see if he can build off his good game over these last few weeks.

Why are people so surprised at high D grades?

The D got 6 TOs, scored a TD (should have been 2). Yes, they gave up 27, but 1 was garbage time and our own 4 TOs gave a lot of short fields.

As for the grades, that is 2 good (fantastic) weeks in a row for Stone. Jackson's best game of the year by a mile. Murphy turning into a Hubbard level DE would help us a ton.

And I know everyone is into tear it downode, but BJ Hill and Hilton can still play some. Outside of Higgins & maybe Gesicki, they are our two best FA's. Hilton is best best run defending corner in the league, FWIW. Every so slightly below avg in coverage.

But if Stone closes well enough to think he can be an asset next year at FS (or at least not a liability) AND Murphy can give us something at LDE, AND Jackson isn't a seive anymore, then our off season to do list gets a lot shorter and more manageable. And less expensive.

I know it is just one game, & TN stinks, but encouraging signs.

The problem with believing in those guys is the fear that they will come back next year and play like they did for most of this season, very poorly. Let's not forget that while on this mini hot streak, the Bengals have been facing teams that are even more pathetic than they have been for most of the season.
