4:25pm games thread

AFC: Bills
NFC: Lions or Vikes

I have a disdain for Josh Allen for some reason, to the point we call Lamar a RB, that is what Allen is looking at his stats. Lamar is actually passing and IMO more dangerous than Allen.

If we had a defense Burrow is MVP. A BAL vs BUF matchup in the playoffs would be fun to watch. I don't think KC is as good as either fo those teams but they always have the refs on their side lol.

I want the Lions to win. Goff > Stafford.

Bills also rested their starters, but at least they were trying againts the Pats. Reid and the Hunt family probably spent some good time on the phone discussing the possible outcomes of this game since the flight to Denver was delayed because of the storm. Also if you are Goodell you don't want the Bengals and Burrow to make it to the playoffs  to treat Mahomes and Kelce/Taylor Swift.

And it is not like these players aren't banged up. Sure the fans who bought tickets today love seeing the Broncos win at home. And based on the game, what fan wants to see Red Kermit get hurt and have a Divisional playoff game with Carson Wentz playing?

Just stop...this was not a plot against the bengals...and if you areGoddell you want the bengals...you are aware they have consustently had some if the highest TV ratings nationally.. only thing reid was worried about on the pkane was making sure he did not run out of cheeseburgers...excuse my typing

Go to Chiefs planet. Anyone hyping them can go as well.

Some of you haven't watched their games and I'm not sure how they've been on every week.

Chiefs are frauds and the NFL should be embarrassed with this week 18 nonsense... everyone is throwing games.

See-yall on the draft board.

I don't think there's much that can be done.
I'm sure the players all have some kind of ding at this point in the season and the team can just designate them with questionable tag and bench them to "avoid further injury."

I'm not sure an team that has had Mike Brown as a GM for 35 years should open Pandora's box by asking the NFL to punish franchises that "aren't trying to win."

Anyone from the NFC is fine by me.

Now that the season is over…fire Frank Pollack immediately. That’s the start.

Chiefs find a way to win games..they are a great team...and i have perused the chiefs boards...they think we and zac taylor are loudmouths and blowhards...as we do them......give it a breakk...it was not meant to be this year

I wish I was still into baseball. I have to watch NBA and the 3 point nonsense it's turned into.

The offense is not entirely without blame.  Defense held the Patriots to 16.  Unfortunately all Burrow and the offense could mange was 10.  Win that game and we are in the playoffs.  This Pittsburgh game, defense carried the team.  Last week the offense needed 3 possessions in overtime to score.  Defense managed two good stops to give the team a chance.  Yes the defense has played bad this year but the offense isnt without blame either.

I would wonder though, with mixon's coin flip mockery of roger, if goodell holds a grudge. I think he would lol.

That is true, but I would say the defense is responsible for most of our losses, there is a lot to fix over there. I remember thinking if they tackled just a little better we would have significantly more wins.

Or... their 2nd and third string players aint that good...the team we are watching aint the chiefs...the bengals would be beating that same group of players by the same margin...its notreids job to make sure the bengals get into the playoffs

If Denver is going to win, we dont want the Jets to win too. All that do would be to drop the Bengals behind the Dolphins in the draft..

Without googling it, does anyone remember which team we screwed out of a playoff spot by resting our starters against the Jets in the final game of the 2009 season and letting them have the final playoff slot?

This was just a smart move by a franchise smarter than ours. Not for this reason. Zac along with the D have destroyed this season from the gate. Hate to see the offense play this good and not make the playoffs but we had our chances. Sucks for Henderson too. Ole well, Cya next season. Who-Dey.
