Fins?

Win that game and we are in the playoffs.  This Pittsburgh game, defense carried the team.  Last week the offense needed 3 possessions in overtime to score.  Defense managed two good stops to give the team a chance.  Yes the defense has played bad this year but the offense isnt without blame either.

Because Tanner Hudson’s brain stopped working and he fumbled on the 1 yard line holding the ball like it was on fire.

Not to mention they lost a possession due to the Chuck Fizzle fumble on a return.

The point was that no one knows or cares. I did look it up, and it seems we screwed the Texans.

I pound the table every off season to address both lines in the draft/FA but then we get all memorized by the skill position players and forget. Just please for the love of God fix both lines and the D will improve drastically. If our Oline can keep Joe up along with a stout AFCN type defense this team would be unstoppable.

I have no problem with Kansas City resting their starters. They want everyone as healthy as can be heading into the playoffs and a long rest will help that. Cant fault them for that.

I just hope that strategy backfires and they end up be rusty resting so much while the team facing them will be game ready

Well they screwed us in the playoffs several times so they can piss off. :)

This spring’s draft better be OL, DL, OL, DL, OL, DL, OL…

For sure lol.
They added a salary floor for a reason lol.

For there to get any change like above to happen, it would need to be from some darling team like the Chiefs, Steelers, Ravens, etc.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

It's a joke response, anyways.  Imagine the NFL looking at this season and deciding to punish the 15-2 chiefs of all teams for not trying to win enough.

The chiefs are a few lucky breaks from going 8-9 but the NFL needs to punish them for going 15-2 and not 16-1...or something.  We've gone delirious.

I agree. Zac is, as the young kids say, mid at best. He’s not a top tier HC, and not overly innovative with his offensive scheming. Since the front office won’t fire themselves, the logical place to make a change would be HC and staff. It won’t happen, we all know it, nor will beefing up the pathetic scouting department.
Through 2024

Mike Brown Owner/GM record: 34 years  232-311-4  .419 winning pct.
Playoff Record:  5-9 .357 winning pct.
Zac Taylor coaching record: 6 years 46-52-1 .470 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-2 .714 winning pct.

Yeah, probably the most frustrating season for me, all things considered.

And this team has a lot more questions than answers.

Certainly no guarantee we’re any better next year.

But we’ll hope.

I don’t think they will. I’m betting they pay him.

To we fans this season was a failure. To Mike Brown this season was a success. I think the coaching staff will remain in place, unfortunately.
