Lou
Pollack
Hobby
and the LB coach all gone

Link?

Good news if true. Getting ZT off play-calling duty would help.

But this shows they know they need to makes changes. Hopefully they modernize their contract structures, hire some scouts, and don't mess around with signing Tee, extending Chase (and maybe Trey), restructuring Burrow, and cutting some overpaid weight off the roster.

I saw it on SI.com. Glad Pollock and Hobby are gone. Still conflicted on Lou.

Below average defenses in 5 of his 6 years as a DC.

Well they didn’t listen to your opinion because it’s not so public every post. Lol

I got flamed a couple years ago for suggesting we got to the SB in spite of Zac and not because of him.

I think he was carried not only by the teams talent but a big part of the success that season was Lous ability to adjust and lock down in the second half of games.

This team has kept most of its offensive talent and worked (unsuccessfully) to build an oline.

However they have not kept the defensive talent and lou hasn't had much to work with.

I'm not saying it's not time for a change but I don't think it'll matter much if Zacs still here.

Pollack probably needed to go a long ass time ago.

Let me ask you this, is there a better option out there? I think we all know the answer to this question.

The real question is "is there a better option out there that will come to Cincinnati?"

Hopefully so.

Honestly didn't think they would do it.

Something had to give. Too much talent to be on the outside looking it.

I guess we'll see. It could very well turn out to be a case of be careful what you ask for.
