Tee’s market price

I'm not going to be upset if they keep or lose Tee.

Keep Tee: Talented player, but gets hurt a lot.

Lose Tee: Don't overpay for a hurt player, lose the talent.

I don't trust Duke though with what happens to the money not spent on Tee if they let him leave.

tee higgins is chronically injured you don't spend money on that and with tee Higgins the Bengals are at best now a .500 club..if he is on the roster next year we will know this club does not intend on improving

We just can't put 30 million in Tee and still get all the pieces we need to rebuild the defense. Not to mention two guards and depth players galore.

two guards..two interior defensive linemen..linebackers etc...you don't spend money on a player that misses one third of the season..wish Higgins the best but its time to move on

Right

There's a big part of me that would love to see Tee stay. But here's another big part of me that thinks/knows it's crazy to put out the kind of money he's going to want on 1. A player with a history of suspect availability. 2. That much money on one player when you have Jamarr and Trey to pay and so many other basically desperate needs!

If they can pay all three and still fix the rest of the team (don't see how) I'm not opposed to Tee's return. My big fear is if they retain Tee they'll put a band-aid on rest of the team and we'll be sitting at 9-8 again with everybody talking about what could have been.

Why would you want less production for more games played? That makes no sense. Games played doesn't give you Ws, production gives you Ws.

wtf?

use that brain of yours

1: less money to WR2, and you dont need a 1k yard guy. you dont.
2: no scrapping away game plans because of mid week injuries
3: back to point 1, less money to wr2 means more money to fix the actual garbage parts of this roster
4: use that talented RB more

I dont want to repeat this anymore, so I will be leaving this discussion lol

Oh, there’ll still be mid-week game plan scrapping, but it’ll be for whatever antics Jermaine pulled that Wednesday.
Through 2024

Mike Brown Owner/GM record: 34 years  232-311-4  .419 winning pct.
Playoff Record:  5-9 .357 winning pct.
Zac Taylor coaching record: 6 years 46-52-1 .470 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-2 .714 winning pct.

Something tells me that if Jermaine doesn't show up to OTAs and camp carrying and conducting himself like an academic All-American, he could find himself on the bad end of an August cut.

I hope we could get more for Trey than that package! If Crosby, Garrett, and Watt can get multiple  firsts then trey should get a first & a second!

The Bengals will have plenty of room to sign both Tee and improve the roster.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Yup

I read an article couple days ago about Duke's statement on him and it wasn't nice! I'd say Burton is on ultra thin ice. If he's not A number one perfect on everything from A-Z I'd say he's as good as cut.

I didn't see the less money until later posts. I was reading it like you prefer a guy to play more games, even if he puts up less production, with no qualifiers. I can agree with getting a cheaper guy if you're going to use that money to upgrade other positions, re: Tee. I don't agree with trading a guy like Trey just because you can get the most compensation for him. This team hasn't proven they can draft adequately to meet his production on the field.

Everyone yells about losing Bates, but then wants to trade Trey for return. Eff that. You need to get and pay a QB, elite weapon, tackle, DE and CB and then build around that, staring with the trenches and then speed on the defense.

Would you package Tee in a deal with the browns to get Myles Garrett? He asked for a trade

Why is this in awful take? It's true, especially if they make the cuts they should. They have plenty of cap room.

Here’s a thought. Sign Darius Slayton and let Tee walk. Or sign and trade T if possible. The numbers keep moving for Higgins but you could probably get Slayton for 50-60%. In 4 out of 5 year’s Slayton has put up 700+ yards, 50+ receptions with a career 43.5 ypg. These aren’t outstanding numbers on the surface but he has played on some bad giants teams. I wpild imagine playing with burrow and opposite chase, his numbers could jump nicely.

I would love to keep T here but we have other needs to fill and only 6 picks as of now. Extend chase and Hendrickson, and bring in a couple impact outside free agents.

Why Darius Slayton? The dude averages 42 yards per a game during his career. He is not a Tee Replacement!

you dont need a proper tee replacement. You need guards and new defensive pieces. Quickly
