1 more reason Bengals fan should watch Super Bowl

Maybe I should be writing self help books about completely avoiding her, because everyone else acts like being bombarded with Taylor Swift love is as inevitable as death and taxes.

My wife doesn't listen to her and I don't have kids, so maybe that's the secret, I legitimately don't know how regular people can't avoid her but I can.

The news, everywhere. The eras tour I think it is called has been promoted to death on TV. You are a lucky man to be able to so easily avoid
this annoying Swifty phenomenon that has went on the last few years. I don't even know anyone personally who listens to her, but as soon as I
turn on the TV, there she is lol

Weird, wish I could avoid her like you can bud. Mellow

I listen to Pandora on my phone and there have been Taylor Swift ads talking about her eras tour for years it feels like. Wish we could actually
have talented good music in pop music but it seems popular music just sucks. I prefer 70's music myself, great decade of music.

Her getting together with Travis just made her even more impossible for me to avoid. Hopefully it is over, this Swift love fest. I can dream lol

First SB I never watched.

Haven’t even seen highlights. A complete garbage game.

So Hurts broke the trend of QB’s usually not winning a SB after losing in their first appearance (yay). But the 5 year rule for a HC/QB combo is still very much a thing (sigh).

just watch and see she dumps ole Travis soon now that the winning bandwagon train might be over...

Katie and Duke should take notes.

Nah, they'll let Williams, Sweat, and Williams go. Then they will use all three third RD Comp picks(and a couple firsts) to get Myles Garrett in a trade.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

I tried Pandora at work one and no matter what band I looked up it insisted I wanted to hear the same 3 Led Zeppelin songs over and over so I just brought one of those old portable CD players and earbuds.

I don't see Taylor Swift much, but I can relate in the sense that for 10 or so years there how Johnny Depp seems to be in 75 percent of movies and nobody notices except me.

I used to let popular stuff get to me in my younger days and pick the other side out of some lame form of defiance. I mean, I'm from outside of Pittsburgh and I'm a Bengals fan, after all. Now I'm just a combo of mellow and sick of fighting I guess.

Actually, this made me think of a current overexposure fight I'm in. I don't work from home any more so I needed snow tires to navigate the rural PA hills and back roads. My wife's nephew is a mechanic and I asked about snow tires so he looked up a distributor he uses on my phone and I bought them. I'm glad I did, but I keep getting their ad before YouTube videos multiple times per day since then.

It also starts with an eagle or other predatory bird screeching and I say out loud to this ad "you already have my $550, you already have my money, you're wasting your time!". Personally, I'd rather hear about Taylor Swift next time that this eagle screech (which made my cat jump at least once) and marketing "rugged man" voice tell me again where to buy tiashhhrs.

That makes three in a row for me.  It gets easier.  The first one I skipped, Harbaugh vs Harbaugh, I'm not exaggerating much when I say that evening I almost felt like I'd shoplifted something.  I had never skipped one before since I began watching as a kid, so it felt like I was doing something wrong and maybe needed to turn in my fan card.  Turns out that's a lot of baloney, and don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise.  And if Patty and company are back in it next year, I'll damn sure skip that one too.

Anyways, in her defense she looked upset the Chiefs lost...I feel like it would have been a more easily criticized look if she had been in the box yucking it up because she doesn't need to care about football like us nobodies because she's rich and living it up, or something.

And looked hugely surprised when she got roundly booed after being shown the first time. You would think one day performers would learn to keep their political beliefs to themselves, and you are always going to piss off half the country.

Eagles have spent 4 first round picks in the last two years on defense (#9, #13, #22 and #30). They also used a first round pick as a package to trade for AJ Brown.

The Carson Wentz trade and a move back from #6 gave them the extra first rounders to build a Georgia version 2.0 defensive line - on rookie contracts!

Unless we have someone expendable to trade and get a first rounder, and are willing to wait two years for the picks to deliver value, our best option is to build a Michigan verion 2.0 DLine by drafting Kenneth Grant ( I think Sunset suggested this before). Then go CB or another DLin in round 2 (Nolan Smith or Deone Walker)

I've seen this referenced a few times and IDK what folks consider blitzing, but they definitely bring a 5th rusher around the 1:40 mark

Or maybe... Just maybe she was being booed by Philly fans (who booed famously Santa Claus), and it had nothing to do with politics. Reminds me of a few years ago when Bruce Springsteen last played on Saturday Night Live. Somebody called into Hannity hooting about how the crowd booed after he played (you know... Because of his political views). The crowd was yelling Bruuuuuce, like they do at every one of his shows. I don't think the vast majority of us are running around worrying about politics all the time. Take a look at the traffic on this site. PnR is just a drop of water in the bucket when compared to Jungle Noise.

Wouldn't surprise me. It is easy to jump on a winning bandwagon and it is easy to jump off once the losing starts if you are not emotionally
invested. Different for us Bengals fans who had the 90's and know what losing is like and cannot help it, have to stay with our one team.

Travis is falling off as a player as well.

I got Pandora when it started, was one of the first 100 people to sign up. The key is to not thumbs up too many songs or it will just play
them over and over. I have some really good stations that I have worked on for years. My Scorpions station is kick ass etc.

Yeah, I try not to let the pop stuff get to me but sometimes it is hard. Pretty sad when there is such great music out there and young
people only know about the pop stuff which usually sucks pretty hard like Swift.

That would be pretty annoying to have some screeching eagle coming from your phone all the time. Hilarious

Not me, when I'm famous I'm going to endorse a libertarian and piss off 95% of people.

Given the current political climate this seems like a particular odd time to wonder why a famous billionaire would weigh in on politics. Mixed messages abound on how important it is to keep your mouth shut regarding what you think is right lest it piss people off.  Ok, this is too much politics for me...I feel like a recovering alcoholic eyeing up someone's beer right now.

I only had Pandora on for an hour or so and realized I'm too much of a music snob and "original album" junkie to not use physical media that I own.  I used to complain about pop stuff and popular stuff, but meh...if popular stuff wasn't popular I wouldn't be so fake cool for not finding it popular.  It wasn't that long ago people were afraid and sick of Elvis because he wasn't Glenn Miller.

Post game, one of the Philly defenders said they blitzed "maybe twice" and i saw someone else (talking head) say they didn't blitz until the 3rd quarter.

If i had to guess, i'd lean toward one of the old timey teams. Prob one of the Chicago teams if i was going to make a blind guess. I honestly have no idea off the top of my head.

PS- Did Chicago have multiple teams or were they always the Bears?
