Wait he was one of the guys they threw out there when everyone else was hurt, right?

Yep. He played okay in his time. Seems like a solid CB5/6.

Not sure I'd spend 1.5 million dollars on CB5/6, but what are you gonna do?

Bengals may be in on Teven Jenkins according to Ricky lol.

You do realize the league minimum is 840K and the guy was active on game day last year. I thought he player well for a low end paid CB.

A 5/6 CB becomes a 3/4 CB with 2 injuries. We saw that in 2025 so adding depth cheap is smart in my humble opinion.

base salary would be 1.1 m regardless, don't think 1.5 is overpaying

min. goes up with service, so he is like 1.1 m now

I understand he is 1.1 million. But, the best they could do to replace him is with a rookie who makes the league minimum.

Didn’t see earlier that the Eagles are trading Gardner-Johnson to Houston for a guard.
I would think that means Becton is not going back to Philly and I don’t think their defense will be as good next year.

The Eagles have lost quite a few defenders so I would expect a drop off next season for sure. They will still be good but I don’t think they will be nearly as good as they were in the postseason.

Signing a stop gap guard then trading Hendrickson for a 2nd rd. pick that Tobin will likely butcher doesn’t sound ideal. At this point they need to keep Hendrickson and sign a guard quickly. Loosing the NFl Sack leader and not signing a legit guard will make this team worse.

And Hendrickson was the second leading voter for defensive player of the year. He had a very special year last year (and last two years, really) and either needs to be in stripes or needs to bring back a high draft pick.

Rosen has killed the draft in recent years. Eagles have lots of draft picks and supposedly they have replacements on the roster for most of the guys wh left.

Agree on Becton that was my thoughts as well. Philly is scary because Dejean and Mitchell were only rookies at cb and will only get better. Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith only getting better heading into year 3 and still got Davis as a run stuffing NT. They need some more DL help after losing Sweat and Williams and of course this draft is loaded hits them perfect.

I hope i'm wrong, but i will be stunned if the Bengals sign any of Becton, Zeitler or Scherff. I think our Guards will be FORD/Volson at LG and a 2rd pick at RG.

I’m pretty disappointed thus far, even with the Gesecki and Hill extensions. I’m *meh* on Perine coming back. And I’m underwhelmed by the Slayton and Oren signings, but understand their depth and needed for filling out a roster. But the Big 3 situations are handicapping us from going out and signing a GOOD guard. Or making a move for a rotational Edge for LDE. Or planning for *worst case scenario* in the event Trey is traded or held to his current contract and holds-in / out and finding a guy who can play RDE. Their inability to get some of these things done LAST season is really coming back to bite them in the ass big time.

If that happens then everyone in this front office should be fired and if I'm Burrow I'd ask for a trade before this organization ruins my career from an injury because we are starting two replacement level players at guard.

are you kidding me..that defensive line was playing lights out the last 5-6 games of the season..big improvement with the rookies and even Murphy...the team has shored up the rotation..which is vitally important and resigned Gesicki..an excellent receiver... I do agree that we need a guard..and also a number 2 receiver and pass rusher..there are excellent options in the draft and in FA..As far as unhappy superstars..thats ridiculous..I can assure you Burrow is far from unhappy and is living a magical life..Chase knows hes going to get paid and be one of the highest paid players in the NFL..imagine making 30-40 million a year and getting treated like royalty.Higgins is a multimillionaire many times over..he will be fine..My lord have mercy if he has to play on the franchise tag and get paid 26 million bucks a year..We all should be so unhappy..Have a great day..WHO DEY

This is untrue.

You are confusing "playing better than they were early in the season" with playing Good.

What might turn out to be the bad move is the 1 year part if he has a huge year.

Well said Pistons. This is why I am glad Lou is gone. Inexcusable not to put a healthy End out there opposite of Trey especially when one
is clearly better. Ossai was our best pass rusher besides Trey last season, bring him back even if it is for a year which I agree is the the bad
move, think he could blow up now that the mental problems are behind him and hopefully the physical ones as well.

We can add another pass rusher or 2 in the Draft. But we need 2 Guards pronto.

Don't know what the FO is doing. Fries is now gone to the Vikes.
