Draft Day 2025!!!
Browsing around the internet seeing some comments about the pick:

Quote:He’s a traits guy through and through. Wasn’t asked to rush the passer a lot, was an edge setter and is good vs the run. Looked great in his limited pass rush snaps though. Burst is insane

Quote:39 pressures last year though.

Quote:Tbf he had a pretty solid pass rush win rate. But yeah he needs to work on finishing

Then just a bunch of negativity. Here's hoping for the best!

But yea another year of a raw defensive player when we need help now.

I was typing to ask, is this our defensive player version of the John Ross pick?

Trey isn’t getting traded on Day 2

Hoping they know something that we don't and that he has been training this offseason to improve his pass rush moves.

He has the physical abilities, and yeah I wish they had taken Harmon, but let's just hope there's quality guards or d tackles available in the 2nd and 3rd.

All we needed to do was go OL. Now the draft is a disaster as all the usable OL will be gone before we come up in Round 2.

Hunt's big deal was that he was a 3-4 player when we ran a heavily-structured 4-3 and he was 26 or whatever

No surprise there, I don't even k ow you why bother posting on here.

Landon Jackson.

Ross had an 1000+ yard, 17 TD season in college.

I don’t think this team wants to win

Like Marcus Hunt

Dax Hill

Myles Murphy

Cedric Go by me.

I mean, they all went so well. What’s there to be afraid of?

We already wrote off Dax and Murphy?

Hopefully they know best...

They do not. They don’t and they never have.

Trash franchise completely unserious about winning.

A team desperate for day one help on defense takes the biggest project in the entire draft. And Trey’s situation remains unsettled.

The Cardinals did them a huge favor by taking Nolen, because now no one can say they passed over him when he becomes a star. They were taking Stewart. Period.

I’d say I can’t believe it, but it’s what we all expected.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

Stewart has the same number of sacks in 3 years of college football as Adien Hutchenson.

Production on field is minimal. Averages 1.5 sacks over 3 years. Didn't really shoot up the draft boards until after the Combine, so this pick is all about measurables and upside. Not what you are looking for when you NEED to hit on this pick.

"The Bengals really wanted to trade down, but couldn’t do so. Instead, they made the same mistake they made in a recent draft. They selected Myles Murphy as a high-upside player with no production, and he busted. They just drafted his clone, as Stewart had 4.5 sacks throughout his entire collegiate career."

Walter football is a joke. But yeah he’s right about this one.

This franchise is a laughing stock. If we didn’t luck in to burrow and chase we would be a bottom 5 team every year. Instead we’re a middle of the pack team.

Because he's not good at footballing.

Nolen, Campbell, Johnson, Barron

Of course we took the one guy who can’t help this defense. Man im so disappointed like I know everybody here is. There were 10 guys who could’ve been plugged in and helped this defense and we picked the guy who only performs well without pads on

How the hell does someone keep their starting job in college with only 4 sacks playing DE. mean one of the mail goals is getting to the QB, we just re-drafted Murphy. One of the worst first round picks I can remember.
