Welcome Shamar Stewart

Don’t think Emmanwori will be there but Watts or Ratledge would be awesome.

Watts/Ratledge or Savaiinaea would make us all feel much better I am sure.

Zabel, Jackson, Harmon, Starks, Emmanwori, Campbell, Barron, Johnson. They all make us better Day 1.

I don't think Stewart does. We needed holes filled. Not more question marks.

I've said it before: Stewart has the same number of sacks in his first 3 years in college football as Aiden Hutchinson did.

Many experts had Stewart going before our pick

Then Stewart was picked and I let out a louder ,"nooooooooo WTF GODDAMNIT!"

Then I stepped away for a few picks, came back and I'm over it. We need to root him on and hope for the best, can't do anything about it now, just deal with it and hope for the best.

Let's get more trench tomorrow. If Eman somehow makes it down to us, that would be awesome.

We can complain about Shemar Stewart all we want but Day 2 Offensive Guard was always going to be the most important pick for the Bengals.

I agree.

Here is a guy that may be available,

Pre-Draft Analysis

Savaiinaea lined up at right tackle, left tackle and right guard in college. At the combine, he tied for the second-fastest 10-yard split (1.72) out of the offensive linemen and ran a 4.95 40-yard dash. Those are impressive numbers for an offensive lineman, especially one who weighs 324 pounds. He played guard in four games in 2023, and he's a better pass blocker on the inside than at tackle. Savaiinaea's length and frame make it tough to get around him when he plays inside. He moves well enough to mirror when his footwork is sound, and he's strong enough to anchor when he wins with his hands. He primarily played offensive tackle, and he can provide depth there in the NFL. He's not a fundamentally sound run blocker, but he is big enough to wall off defenders and strong enough to get push. -- Steve Muench

Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

We have more players than just Trey lol

But yeah. Smirk

You sure about that? With regards to rushing the passer, it looked like Trey was on his own out there.

love seeing the mental gymnastics of Frank Booth, brainwashing himself into thinking others think he is a Bengals fan in real time

Stewart wasn't my Ist choice either but I think some are being a bit too harsh on him and the pick. He's here now, let's hope it works out.

Ossai was okay and he is back, but if Shemar can rush a QB or a RB and knock them into the backfield we have other DL, LB's and even the Slot
Corner or Safeties to hopefully cleanup. This isn't Lou's Defense anymore.

Time for Al Golden to work some magic

The comparison on this guy keeps being Myles Garrett.  That's not me, that is Football Draft things on YouTube.

He is called The Safest Pick In The Draft.

He is called a physical freak in his speed and power and size and long arms.

Has all the tools to be coached up on swim moves to the QB.

At Texas A & M he was double and triple teamed a lot, and still most disruptive force on the field.

Was the top 10 player in USA out of high school.

Could be a Pro Bowl Super Star.  At worst will be on a team many years.

Again, this is not me.  Go on YouTube and this is what they say about him.  For his Size and Speed and Power, they keep comparing him to Myles Garrett.

At Texas A & M, they would line him up outside or inside at DT.  In NFL that won't happen.  Bengals will coach him up into a DE and teach him moves to go with his NFL Size, Power and Speed.  LONG ARMS.

Was great in Senior Bowl Week and at NFL Combine, which Bengals are always all over both.

Anybody they compare to Myles Garett, I say Welcome To The Bengals.

They could be there Nate, but will they draft them? After the Stewart pick tonight, I am not sure...

Way too harsh lol. I’m hoping he can be something like a Michael Johnson/carlos Dunlap 6-8 sack/season kind of guy. It’s a possible outcome.

But You and Me can't make the Bengals Picks....Bengals took him, and most Scouts love this pick.

If it wasn’t for Murphy I wouldn’t have a problem with the pick. All the 1st round rushers seemed to have some issue.

I get you…just being sarcastic because of how bad the rush was aside from Trey.

Sure hoping they can get Stewarts production to match his talent.

I getcha Wedge. But I was preparing myself for Shemar just in case and saw his good traits before hand whether I would like the pick or not.

I wanted to be ecstatic like always, didn't happen. But hope this was just history from the old Defensive regime poking through, could be.

We met with all the guys I mentioned, but we didn't meet with Shemar so who the hell knows lol

Agree, got a bunch of ass holes around here now ha ha

This guy could be that good if he can learn to finish and it is definitely possible.

Same here, Murphy was the very reason I thought we wouldn't pick Stewart but eh, we will see, new coaches and all...
