Reds July 2025 Thread
Braves scored their run without a hit.

Reds never moved the runner.

They have been doing stupid base running all year, why expect anything less.

What’s wrong with bunting ELDC to 3rd, I just don’t get it.

3 unearned runs, and probably more not counting steers not picking up the bunt

Situational hitting, and they just can’t do it.

I know the guy is a great "talent"...but could he have less of a clutch gene? Literally, he never does anything in the biggest moment.

Hays is in his 8th year, is 30 years old, and cant hit it to the right side.  Doesn't even try.

That is the 7th extra inning game, where they failed to score a run. Wonder why they’re record is so poor in extra innings.

Did you not see the 8th inning? Obviously not entirely true. The 10th was on Elly more than anything else.

Did you see how many runners they left on base. Twice they had 1st and 2nd and couldn’t advance a runner, next time bases loaded no outs couldn’t score, then0h  inning, couldn’t advance a runner.

The 8th was a fluke because they thought the game was over and they were swinging for a home run, and Atlanta was throwing strikes to keep players off the bases. You won’t see that again in the next 50 years.

Just stop. No one except Steer was swinging for a homer in the 8th. Yes Hayes had one too but probably not intending to but he got a hold of it.

They aren’t fundamentally sound on the bases, strikeout a lot, and don’t try to move the runner over often by giving up the first out. Elly should have been running on Iglesias.
