I was going to pick the Bills, but I see ESPN has the Bengals losing 37-9. They're such a POS outfit, that I now think the Bengals win.

And since I despise ESPN, I'll say Bengals 37-9.

they ran it through some algorithm thing. It also has the Texans beating the Jags 30-16, and the Commanders beating the Browns 41-10

Was wondering if that was mentioned here or not. Couldn’t stop laughing. They saw that score prediction and thought “Yeah, let’s publish this”.

I assumed he meant his predictions have been wrong so he was hoping for thay trend to continue. Otherwise it's kind of a dumb statement lol

ESPN used its Football Power Index (FPI) to predict a score of Bills 37 and Bengals 9.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35330806/predicting-nfl-playoff-picture-espn-football-power-index-projects-weeks-17-18-division-races-wild-card-hunts

Edit: I see this was noted above. I'm trying to post while on an endless conference call. But here is the link to the ESPN prediction.

I wouldn't wipe my behind with ESPN's garbage indexes.

FWIW, they also like the Carr-less Raiders to beat the 49ers. They like the Commanders, who just switched QBs, to hang 41 on a good Browns D. They think the Titans, resting/missing half the team, only lose by 3 to Dallas. And they like the Texans to beat Jacksoville by 2 TDs. And the Bears to hang 37 on the Lions in Detroit and win a game the Lions have to have.

20% of their projections are obviously stupid. They are more about clicks than serious stuff. If it ain't Zach Lowe NBA stuff, ignore it.

Yep. This is like their stupid QBR stat. Bunch of horseshit paraded around as legitimate when we all know it's horseshit.

BUF-CIN: Bills 37, Bengals 9

What kind of crock of shit is this garbage? We're playing the Bills not the Browns. Only Cleveland would thrash us this bad.

A long time ago[after Halloween Browns Beat Down], when we were 4 - 4, I predicted we would go 8 - 1 down the road with us losing only to the Browns.
Thus, I predicted wins over the Steelers at Pitt, Pats at NE, KC, Buf and Balt at home.

That said, we had only one thrashing this year and we avenged against that team.

Bengal fans think of it I hope I am not jinxing us, but we haved been thrashed only once this year.  Tiger

It's interesting that it's a Monday game which means we'll know...

1) Whether the Bengals could clinch the division (BAL loses/Bengals win)
2) Whether Miami is in or out -- clinching the last spot (MIA wins/NYJ lose)
3) Whether KC (with a loss) could be dropped to a #3 seed (with a Bengals win)

The truth hurts LOL

I've been back and forth on this, wondering what my opinion would be of this game if I were neutral and, say, a Cardinals fan living in Arizona or a Seahawks fan in Washington.  Those guys give the edge to the Bills, 31-23.  Ohio me sees a W by 3.

The game is in THE JUNGLE.

I hope some fans on here have to eat crow.  Even though Bengals went to Super Bowl, after the first week of the season many on here were ready to hand this years Super Bowl trophy to Buffalo because they beat the Rams.  A win that is looking less impressive.  I hope the Bengals just come out and do to Buffalo what they did to Tennessee and Kansas City.   Show some fans on here they switched from AFC CHAMP Bengals to Buffalo way too early 1st week of the season.

Go Bengals.  I would not trade Bengals players for Buffalo's.  I think Bengals have the better team on Offense and Defense.  It should be a great game, but Bengals will win at home.  The Jungle tilts the even up bookie points in Bengals direction, BENGALS BY 3 POINTS.

I would not trade Burrow for Allen.  I would not trade Chase, Higgins, Boyd for their set of WRs.  I would not trade our RB's for theirs. I would not switch Defenses with them, I like Bengals Super Bowl defense.   People read way too much into Bills in Week One.  Bengals will beat them in Week 17.

The line has changed since Saturday night.  The Bills opened as favorites. It went to push a couple of days ago.  It doesn't surprise me that the Bengals are now a nominal home field favorite.  These teams are as closely matched as any in the NFL

The bills aren’t the same scary team they were last year. Certainly one of the better AFC teams but quite mortal. Despite their record and win against KC I personally would be more scared of the Chiefs so I definitely think we can win at home.

Everyone (except for ESPN lol) is riding high on the Bengals and for good reason. All this extra love and hype makes me feel nervous about this one.

The Bengals seem to do better when they are not favorites and everyone is not gushing all over us, almost as if we have something to prove.

I got the Bills in this one (sadly); especially with our issues at RT 33-30

I also see Allen exposing our Awuzie-less D.

I hope I’m wrong.
