I didn't realize so many snowflake conservatives existed. I guess all of us moderates and the liberals were desensitized by years of people calling for Obama to be killed while comparing him to a monkey.

Well at least she wasn't a rodeo clown wearing a Trump mask. Now that's over the line.

Once every two weeks someone puts a thread up that isn't about the Trump admin or family.  Relax.

No, that'd be redundant.

I try to put one up more frequently than that. LOL

Yes.  Everyone who disagrees with Trump or is on the left is a member of ISIS and a D List comedienne is our leader.

Sad

I'll go eat my 72 raisins now.

On a more serious note what she did went way over the line...even for an attention ***** like Griffin.  She'll feel some serious backlash for this.

And the right wing might react with a lot of hyperbole.

Maybe.

C'mon man. Let's get real. I mean this is unprecedented. Never in the history of the US has something like this happened.

I mean, I have scoured the internet, and I had to go all the way back to the previous president before I found anything even remotely like this single image from Griffin. Take a look (NSFW):

You have to admit it. The Democrats, represented by their leader Kathy Griffin, have made their abject hatred for America known, It is on record. And not one single person in America who is white and/or Republican (or Independent, because, yeah...) has ever done anything even remotely like this!

Here's your context. Funny, this image and the quote below it were both quite popular during the previous President's term. Hard to believe you don't recall them.

Shit, short of being a villain in a horror movie, nobody should ever reach the conclusion that holding up a bloody decapitated head (much less in the likeness of a real person) is okay.

Radicalism isn't good regardless of which side, or be it about politics or religion.

Nice flailing misdirection attempt, though.

I'm not just talking about sour grapes over the Electoral College situation, but how many people feel like their elected officials represent them? Left or right, there are a lot of people that feel like they are being left out of the conversation and that number continues to grow.

Now, here is something that may surprise people on here, given that I am essentially a communist to some on the boards, the violent left doesn't surprise me for these very reasons. I have talked on here before about the neo-liberal movement and how that has moved the Democrats to the right. That has put folks on the left in the position of having no viable representation. It's why they latched onto Bernie so much. Social democratic policies are gone in our government when they used to be the standard for the Democrats thanks to FDR. Now, I;m not a democratic socialist like Bernie claims to be (there are differences), but even I feel like there is a lack of politicians representing my views which were, at one time, what the Democratic party was all about. So when you go even further out on the left it isn't surprising that anyone feels disenfranchised.

I can't explain much at all about the far-right, I don't know what is going on there when they get violent.

Returning to their "Roots."

I didn't condone the image in the OP. (Well, some of you mind readers know I really did, but whatever.)

However, I have read well into the thread and so far no body has mentioned that the image may have been inspired by the magazine cover below. Not trying to hijack the thread, just wanted to let people know. And, by the way, I love the Der Spiegel cover and their recent editorial condemning Trump and calling for his removal.

But go ahead the liberal of 2017, continue to ride the coattails of your predecessors crowing atop your liberal perch of superiority.
