NFLN Top 10 Players 2022
#1
Tonight the NFLN starts announcing their top 100 players of 2022

Last season, the Bengals had 2 players on the list

83 Trey Hendrickson
90 Jessie Bates

This season I predict they will be joined by

locks:

Ja'Marr Chase
Joe Burrow

Good Shot
Joe Mixon

Long Shot but deserves it

What do you think?

Chase, Burrow, and probably Hendrickson.

Don't think there will be many RBs on the list, so I see Mixon as a longshot.

Reader also a long shot.

Reader is a long shot because he’s not much of a sack guy and that’s what people look at with D lineman (even their peers)
Burrow, Chase and Hendrickson should all easily make it.
Mixon might sneak into the bottom part of the list.
Bates being on there again wouldn’t surprise me - might get some “undeserved” love for going to the SB.
Awuzie would be another guy who could sneak on there but I doubt it.

Bates was 90 last year.

If the players don't rank him higher this season, does it help our cause in future negotiations? There were only two safeties ranked higher than him last year, so maybe that's where he's getting his demand to be paid like a top safety?

Kind of wish this voting had taken place before contract deadlines ended but then would players vote him higher just to help him out or just based on his playoff games?

McPherson is already one of the best weapons in the game. I’d like to see him on there, but I doubt he made it.

I'm interested to find out where Jerbert and Burrow place.

Jessie Bates? He wasn't even our best Safety last year.

I agree with the rest.

Outside shot:

Reader
Awuzie
McPhearson

I agree that he wasn’t our best Safety, but he gets move love than Von Bell does, and I think that his playoff performances (arguably the best player on the team in the 4 game span) will get him in.

I also agree with the 3 that you added in. I think they deserve it (may be some bias here), but I don’t think they make it. Reader probably has the best shot of the 3 of them.

Cooper Kupp didn't make the top 100 last year; he's a lock for top 10 this year

Justin Tucker is 94th.  McPherson won't be above him...not yet

Kid’s name is spelled *McPherson*

Misspelling Carman is one thing, but shame on anyone disrespecting Shooter.

Never would have guessed Mac Jones in the top 100.

It means zilch but I've always enjoyed this list. I'll say Joe comes in at #10 (QB4) this year. I'll give Ja'Marr #19 (WR4). I think Bates'll be the odd man out, just doesn't have the #'s. He didn't even make the PB... granted neither did Joe, but at least he was Comeback POY. Bates is a tougher case to make and they'll just pick someone else imo.

Cardinals RB James Conner clocked in at 80. Joe Mixon has got to be in the list. He is generally considered to be ranked higher than Conner

Trey should definitely be higher. I believe only Garrett and TJ Watt have more sacks over the last 2 years.
