I see nothing wrong with Bill Clinton telling people to be faithful to their wives, or significant others and not to abuse positions of power.

Me either. it is up to the audience if they choose to accept the message or not.

Right, I don't think it's "wrong" like kicking a baby in the face just to see it cry is wrong, but I think it's hypocritical and stupid and a pretty big waste o' money. From what I recall more than 0 colleges that gave the green light to have her speak there were met with enough negative backlash to call the whole thing off.
With that being said, it's dumb. Really dumb. Dumb like Ray Rice telling people who don't beat their wives how not to beat their wives. I get what you are saying. If someone with no teeth tells me brushing my teeth is smart I have to agree with him, whether he brushes his or not. But this Palin gal broke her nationally-televised promise to never never never have sex until marriage while her goofy mom smiled like a smug holy roller and then when she did get knocked up gets a quarter of a million bucks and a book deal as a reward.
You know what, that is as wrong as kicking a baby in the face...I take it back.

I see no problems with it either, but then again I think it is a stupid plan for birth control and she is the perfect example of why it is a failure.
In fact she should be the poster child for why promoting abstinence as the only form of birth control is so stupid.

So how well do you think the message will come across from Bristol when she has her two children running around on stage with her?
For once I think we agree. Bristol Palin should be the poster child for the effectiveness of abstinence as birth control.

Guess we just have differing opinions on this matter.

Yah. It is sort of like believing a conservative when they tell you that "trickle-down really works!".

Who better to tell people to stay away from heroin than an addict?
As to abstinence as a method of birth control, good luck with that. Hormones win. Promises will be broken.
Attempt abstinence. Why not, if that's what someone wants? But carry rubbers.
Don't promise me not to have sex. Promise me not to get pregnant until you're ready to have kids.
And the Palins, they're just goobers. It's kind of a hoot when the real down homers find their way into the public eye.
I have no problem with women in any position, politics or otherwise. But we must have better women for the big jobs than the Alaskan Disaster or Hillary(I am a pathological liar) Clinton.

Seeing as how I find hypocrisy to be one of the ugliest character traits a human being can manifest I'd have to respectfully disagree.

I'm going to try to go the classy way and say, I feel bad for Bristol, but worse for her kids. Being a single mom, even with money is hard. And kids tend to like to have two parents when possible. For that matter I wonder about Levi and Dakota. Do they get the access to their kids that most fathers want?

Probably not because Rush only called women who use birth control sluts. Where is the outrage for Viagra?

Funny the ones claiming that we shouldn't care what other people do in their own bedrooms are the ones making a big deal out of this. Who cares? Her and her family really aren't that relevant anymore.

Apparently Bristol cares whether everyone knows. She made the announcement to the public through her social media.

Irrelevant family has irrelevant kid, marriage status irrelevant. The Palins suck. Ignore em. They'll go away.

I'm sure when it comes down to it, they don't care what she does in her own bedroom.
They do, and should, care about what she does on a stage, while charging people then turning around and doing the opposite of what she says on stage.

Why "should" they care?

They "should" care for the same reason they "should" care about anyone who advocates publicly for social change. If you crusade for a certain topic in public anyone who holds a different viewpoint "should" care. If she was anonymous woman in blanksville I wouldn't give two shits. If she's a person who's publicly advocated for abstinence who comes from a vile family that publicly advocates "family values" and conservatism who's taken money to advocate for both then yes, anyone "should" care.
Bottom line, eff this hypocrite and her hypocrite ways. Jesus is crying about her out of wedlock, born in sin, children. I wonder who the new baby daddy is?
