Petrigilia has a deleted tweet from 11:53 AM EST:

Petraglia is at Bengals practice watching Burrow right now, so when he says "Here", he must mean there?

I'll take it... he played good in the XFL.

Can win you a game or two if needed...

Wow don't mind this decision. I think he is a solid backup guy.

Didn't know he was still in the NFL. It seems that he spent some time playing in the XFL after being released by the Falcons in 2021.

Contingency option ?

Jake Browning would need a Backup if Burrow doesn't play at all.

If Browning plays poorly versus the Rams then McCarron plays the next week ? ?

If Burrow starts versus the Rams but Browning has to come in the game as the backup and plays poorly; then McCarron maybe

starts the next week ? ?

I'd say no to McCarron just so we don't have to continue to hear that stupid nickname. Ninja

Arms Benedict?

I'm sure the impending creeper comments about his wife will be an effective distraction from the nickname  Smirk

Thomas Wolfe wrote words to that effect, but I doubt he was a big football fan.

Have you considered if AJ McCarron is a Thomas Wolfe fan?
