When did it become acceptable to say "Bungles"

Know your baseball better

I know my baseball just fine. 3 winning seasons in 10 years is not good.

WTF do the 2000's have to do with anything i said.

No you do not, and you are a liar.

The Reds had 4 winnings seasons in the 90s. Not 3.

One season of even .500 (81/81)

So, in 10 years of the decade.  4 winning seasons.  1 .500.   5 losing seasons.  1 World Series.  1 season where the postseason was canceled.

You're crying about the 90s decade reds - who were one of the 7 best teams in baseball over the decade -  from W/L perspective.

The 2000 decade reds were drastically worse - 1 winnings season in 10 years

You should know your baseball better.

Okay, 4 instead of 3.  But that does not change the point I was making.  There was still more losing years than winning and I was not happy about it.

Why you being such an ass over something that does not change the point I was making?

You are squealing and whining about the 90s reds.   But They were one of the best teams in baseball over that decade.  Not many more teams had more wins than them, and they won a World Series.

Yet you sit on here, and blindly defend and propagate the 30 year laughingstock bungals.  The irony is hilarious.   It just shows that youre such a blatant troll.

I have to admit fellows (and ladies), I'm surprised Bengals fans are disappointed in people throwing around the pejorative term Bungles. I've been able to watch the Bengals lose a Super Bowl, I suffered through the '90s, and have been a fan, true fan of this team. I've referred to them as the Bungles because they've been as much, but I never considered myself less a fan. I'm intrigued at the different opinions in this thread. Interesting stuff!

So now, a .500 season is a winning season?

Umm, that entire post you responded to was me speaking for myself...
I know there are message board rules, referred to them in another post, that again used my own words, there is no rule against using the word Bungles.

No a season where you won more games than you lost is.

Pretty basic stuff here, mate

I know there’s no rule against it. That’s why we’re saying there should be one. My point is a rule against that word on a Bengals board is perfectly fine. You don’t have “free speech” on a message board or a right to say whatever you please.

OMG

I can't believe that we're even using stuff like "the B word" in here.

Do I like the term ? no

Have I used the term ? yes

Has the term applied ? yes

I hope the terms use is fixing to come to an end.

I wear being a " Bungals" fan as a badge of honor. Full disclosure, I have been a fan since they played at Nippert.

We can use this analogy for personal attacks and most things in life.

Have people been assholes? Yes
Are people inconsiderate? Yes
Do members in thsi forum respect others opinions always? No

I hate the term, I also hate belittling anyone or anything. I am no fan of name calling.

But, my life will go on and because others disagree with me is fine, it is their right.

As long as people stay within thr COC of the forum, all is good, but does not mean I have to agree, respect or like these people.
